    Bump.

Forget the "Trade Al" stuff... certainly don't want to go there after today.

I'm just trying to start Pacerfans talking and thinking about Mark Blount as a Pacer... either as our new starting center or as our new Antonio Davis, backing up both frontcourt positions.
I was about to respond to your other post about trading Al.
I doubt Donnie would do it considering how well the team is doing on and off the court.

Pacers (Donnie) like to hang onto their home grown players, especially the ones that make the team successful.

The only problem with getting blount is it puts another big guy in the mix and limits Al's minutes and that might not sit well with him. I like blount but not to **** off Al or to limit his or bender's minutes. I'd rather get another shooter.

Can't say enough about the guy. I don't see how any Pacer fan wouldn't be INCREDIBLY excited about the thought of a starting frontcourt of Blount, Jermaine, and Artest.

Or maybe Blount, Jermaine, and Bender.
    Backcourt of Artest and Tinsley.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

Seriously, I love our team how it is right now & don't want to make any changes.

Gee, I thought Blount looked pretty good tonight.

Still mad we didn't go after him this summer.

Uh, he had 3 boards in 35 minutes. That's less than:

    Stephen Jackson - 8
    Austin Croshere - 8
    Freddie Jones - 8
    Ron Artest - 7
    Scot Pollard - 7
    David Harrison - 6
    Jamaal Tinsley - 4

But besides that, yeah, he looked fine.

Asked afterward if O'Neal's absence contributed to Charlotte's win, Knight bristled.

"What about Primoz? They didn't have Shaq, but we didn't have Primoz," he said.
