    I just saw this ...............

New Jersey Nets Declined an option on F Clifford Robinson for the 2005-06 season.

If they waive Croshere I could see them looking into picking up Uncle Cliffy.

I'd much rather have him than Brian Grant.

    Or Ratliff, for that matter.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Diop needs a big mans coach, he has fizzled in Cleveland. He's young still got upside and if you could take a chance on him developing into just a good solid backup at C.
"He wanted to get to that money time. Time when the hardware was on the table. That's when Roger was going to show up. So all we needed to do was stay close"

Horry Agrees To Three-Year Deal With Spurs

    ESPN - 07/06 - 1:11 AM EST (AP Photo)
The San Antonio Express-News reported on its Web site Wednesday that Robert Horry will remain with the San Antonio Spurs after agreeing to a three-year deal with the team.

Horry has won six NBA titles, including the 2005 championship while making key shots down the stretch for the Spurs in a seven-game series against the Detroit Pistons .

With his sixth title, the lanky forward joined the elite club occupied by Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Free agents can't sign with a team until the terms of the league's collective bargaining agreement are settled later this month, but that appears to now be a formality for Horry and the Spurs.

"As soon as he is allowed to sign the contract, he is going to sign it," Robert Barr, who represented the 13-year veteran in negotiations, told the Express-News on Tuesday. [READ]

Hey Jose, since this thread is stickied and gets updated in your original post, do you think you could re-arrange them so the newest day is on top and the oldest is at the bottom? That'd be a lot easier to check on when there are updates.

Have you ever seen the dude play? He is horrible, the only thing he can do is block shots. He would not see a minute on our team, Rick would never let him in the game well he would when we go up like 20 in the 4th.

I can't say have ever seen him play nor about 250 other players in the league..

I see Raw talent that can used and harnessed in a way to make Diop a All Star, the kid must have some talent he was what no 8 draft picka few years back

He's a genuine 7 footer and Blocking shots and rebounds is all we need... He could be a younger Dale Davis...

he was drafted straight out of HS and has never played more then 13MPG and last year average 8MPG and surely no one can claim to know a player if he only plays that much...

He's 23, sure not the youngest anymore but still I reckon there is talent in that 280 pound body.....
