Default Coach Nick from Bball Breakdown thinks Myles Turner is a possible break out player next year

Here's his video about a handful of guys (including someone we almost got for Paul George, Gary Harris):

Myles starts at about 4:26 in.

To add to this a little: I perked up a bit when he acknowledged Myles has a post game. Some seem to believe otherwise.

I noticed that too, he does have a nice post up game. With Myles being the focal point, I feel he is in store for big things

I was surprised. So far, Myles low post game was in the same category at the mythical low post game of PG. The one we hear about every off season, but never seem to make an appearance in an actual game. Just a guess, but Myles lack of strength was an issue. He was pretty easy to push off the block and a low post game isn't much good 12 feet from the basket, unless you're Danny Granger.

Honestly his post game is about as intimidating as roy hibbert's. Maybe even less. Hopeful that changes.

The quick pop hook is the only refined move he has. He had spurts of drop step but lacks the lower body strength to make it a go to move. One thing I notice is he puts too much weight on his pivot foot and gets stood up when he makes a move.

Yeah, I don't know if I've ever seen a player with that kind of move before (the "pop" shot). Pretty hard to guard.

Who is "Coach Nick", and why should we pay attention to him?

Not being a jerk, serious question. I started that video expecting him to say something like "Hi, this is Nick ________ former coach at __________________", but got no information as to who he is.

So, can someone fill in the blanks?

he coached some high school ball. I like the guy and some of his stuff is pretty good but I don't know how he's gotten so popular. I don't mean this as the knock it probably sounds like but he's REALLY good at self promotion and he's got an in somewhere, he gets a lot of face to face interviews with prospects.

He gets these interviews because the young kids think of him as a Saint. Since Christmas is gone I am not really sure how this is going to work itself out.

Fun fact Myles Turner is just now the same age Roy Hibbert was when he entered the league.

"With no Paul & Monta around....." Monta? I guess he's right since Monta won't be wasting so many possessions anymore
