Default Where do the Pacers' starters rank?

If you could, what players would you take in place of our current starters? IOW, what are all the players that would be considered "upgrades" over who we already have, at their respective positions?

    C - Dale Davis
    PF - Jermaine O'Neal
    SF - Ron Artest
    SG - Stephen Jackson
    PG - Jamaal Tinsley

I disagree with you about PG.

I think Tinsley is better then Hinrich, Andre Miller and Mike Bibby.

If our starting five stayed healthy/unsuspended, they would be one of the best starting fives. If they did that and played smart, unselfish basketball on offense, they would be the best.

I'm still not convinced that our starting five would be better than San Antonio's or Detroit's. They already do those things.

    Billups > Parker = Tinsley
    Ginobolli > Hamilton > Jackson
In theory Artest > Prince > Bowen but in reality Prince > Bowen > JJ
    Duncan > JO = Sheed
    Ben > Mohammad > DD/Foster

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

I'd agree if Tinsly played more than 50 games a year, and could be healthy in the playoffs

Well, I think they would be at least as good, if they did all that.

I can't really know for sure, though, we never really got to see it this season.

The chances of our guys staying health and playing unselfishly seem to be pretty low, though, so I would say we probably have the worst starting five of all the teams expected to contend.

I'd keep who we have and switch on and off between Dale and Foster.
Life without water is tough, life without air is hard, life with one leg only is wobbly, Life without Reggie Miller, is impossible.

Veteran Austin Croshere, the longest-tenured Pacers player on the roster, has proven reliable when called upon, invariably ready to step in regardless of the circumstance.
