Says the man who let David Griffin go, because he didn't want to pay the man to keep a title contending team....

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

Just sour grapes. He was disappointed that the Cavs lost out.

I was just ready to type something similar after thinking about it a little bit more. Now, the entire NBA world is going to be watching the Cavs to see what they get for Irving to see if he can "do it better".

He's the douche that turned down Kyrie for Paul. Now he can have Dipo and Leaf for Kyrie.
Garbage players get 1st round picks, (WTF)! All of the NBA must hate the Pacers! LOL

TBH, being of a different opinion from Dan Gilbert makes me think we're on the right track.

You can understand why he's disappointed though. He thought he had PG in the bag. The excitement of that big addition might have papered over the cracks in his own team, and maybe Irving wouldn't have asked to be traded. From his POV, it all went downhill from there.

Maybe because the Nuggets' package wasn't, arguably, that good?
Maybe because you said no about Irving (if the reports are true)?
Maybe because Boston was full of **** about their lottery picks?
Maybe because OKC was willing to take the risk on a Paul George rental?

Douche with a capital D. He's just raw because his franchise is now burning. We will be beating the tar out of Cleveland in a little more than a year.
Lance is finally home. Whether he becomes our starting PG or he's 6th man, he's getting big minutes and he's here to stay. #llortontnia

Pacers could have drafted Adebayo with Denver's pick.

Lol at a GM being upset and confused they couldn't move KLove for Paul George. Had you accepted the Kyrie trade we would have done it.

I get some people value Gary Harris, Lyles and the 13th pick over Dipo and Sabonis. But clearly KP is high on Dipo and the entire front office loves Sabonis potential.

So Gilbert, don't have sour grapes and keep acting like a jackass baby because you don't get what you want. The Pacers got what they wanted.

It really did. It went from having a big 3 of LeBron, PG and Kyrie to having none of them. I don't blame him for being bitter. This turn of events is horrible for him.

To be fair though, Gilbert does have a ton of experience in getting people to take on toxic assets that will eventually ruin then

I think it wasn't even those 3; I think Denver had to trade the 13th to get Lyles.

All along KP has repeatedly said we want talented, and passionate with fire guys that WANT TO BE HERE! Y'all think Kyrie wanted to play on an Indiana team that is retooling?

That's why I said "arguably". Personally, I liked the OKC trade more than the crapshoot of the Denver trade.

Oladipo turned 25 on May 4th, averaged 14 ppg as a rookie, 18 ppg year 2 & 16 ppg in last 2 seasons. Pretty good if you ask me. Wonder what 'dipo's numbers would have looked like had he stayed in Orlando. I bet he's be topping 20 ppg easily. Paul George's first 4 years scoring average: 8, 12, 17, 22 ppg. People keep saying we got nothing back for Paul but that's just because they don't know...if anything its WAY too early to tell so they shouldn't be talking. . I mean we were gonna get nothing back had PG never spoke up, like Hayward did to Utah.. And then we also got Sabonis, who just turned 21 on May 3rd, played in 81 games as a rookie, 60+ starts on a western conference team. These 2 guys are proven NBA players who will help us win. I'd like to see the list of players who have put up Oladipo numbers in their first 4 years. I hope Oladipo/Sabonis are motivated off **** like this
