I agree. This is why I started to engage more into discussions with Seth and Vnzla because I couldn't hear everything being said.
Yeah, that was true for all 3 of us. It wasn't as bad as it could have been but there were times when you just couldn't hear. I also felt bad about being too loud of a group for all the people sitting around us.

Gotta get to one of these in the near future.

What I was/am saying is that his dominant nature on the court paired with no clear star to defer to and a possible lack of overall team direction lends itself to Lance taking lots of shots, pushing transition by himself on his many rebounds, and in general asserting himself into any vacuums left by his teammates/coach (which should be plenty).
I really don't see how anyone can disagree with that.

I'd like to put together a group to drive up to see a Mad Ants game this coming season. I'd be glad to rent a big fan if we can get 10 to 12 to go.

It would have to be on a Saturday when the Pacers are off, so we can get an early enough head start. Might stop someplace for a little dinner and some Pacer talk before the game. Head back to the Indy area following the game.

Far too soon to be any concrete plans... just wanna get the idea out.

We've never been in the same room at the same time. I live out in the Phoenix area, sadly, so I have never been able to attend a PD get together.
    Likely story Ace.
Lance is finally home. Whether he becomes our starting PG or he's 6th man, he's getting big minutes and he's here to stay. #llortontnia

All kidding aside, there's a lot of people I'd really like to meet on here. Ace and his superfan son chief among them. I'll be in Michigan quite a bit the next 8-12 months, so if we have a midseason get together, I would really like to meet everyone.

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Again, was great to see you all. My son was so amped on the way home, being able to talk Pacers with a bunch of adults. LOL. I'm sure it gets old only having me to talk with, given the girls focus on other stuff.

I appreciate the encouragement you all gave him. A special hat tip to Hicks for the gift you gave Will. He continues to bring it downstairs to talk about with me.

Pacers is deep within this boys blood.

I'm sure we will come again sometime.

I'm so sorry I missed Bills "Tigger" the Lance story. Wish I had that on tape and could listen to it whenever I needed it like every game I have to watch Lance in a Pacers uniform.

Do we think we'll ever know why Nate was hired? I like Nate more than most, but the hire still doesn't make much sense. Not that I think Nate is a bad coach, in fact I think he is really misunderstood just because of his demeanor in press conferences. But on the face of it his hiring doesn't make any sense. Either keep Frank or bring in a whole new coaching staff.

I wonder if the current coaching staff is too old school to adjust to the new NBA. Are we finally going to put in a switching defense - not just something we try a few games a year, but something we really play often and practice. We have the talent and size to do it this next season.

Bring him every time. He's righteous in his Pacer views.
