The Pistons were almost knocked to the floor by Brown's declaration of love late in Game 6.
"That was hilarious," Rasheed Wallace said. "I mean, if it wasn't for the magnitude of that game, I would have been rolling on the floor."
As the Pistons broke from their timeout with 2:21 left, Brown stopped them and told them he loved them. "I haven't heard that one before," Ben Wallace said, laughing. "With LB, you learn to expect the unexpected.
"Leading up to that, I thought he was going to do a little Geico commercial. It was crazy. He drew up the play, everybody was getting ready to walk out of the huddle, and he's like (mocking Brown's voice), 'Guys, guys, there's something else I need to tell you ...'
"And I was like, yeah, you're going to say you saved a lot of money on car insurance by switching to Geico."
