Default OT: Peck - Brad Miller says Hi!

I saw Brad Miller today at Best Buy. I told him I was huge fan since his Purdue days. I told him I posted at Pacers Digest and he told me to tell Peck Hi.

Seriously, I did see him at Best Buy - he was looking at some cables for his new Plasmas. I got to talking to the kid who helped him and he said Brad came in last week and told him he wanted 4 plasmas and pointed them out and said "I want that one, that one, that one and that one." I guess $25k is not much if you make $8 mil/year.

I actually had to look at him twice because it didn't really look like him. He had a beard and he was very skinny. I didn't get a chance to talk to him but I wish could've. I know he owns about 250 acres up north of Kendallville, but I thought it was cool that he shops at Best Buy. With his money he could have top of the line stuff from one of the custom places. I'm glad to see he hasn't lost his roots and is still down to earth.

Yeah, when I saw him up at Purdue during the All Star break I was shocked at how skinny he looked. Guess they don't feed him well enough out in Cali.

Yeah he should be well into his off season workout schedule of riding his quad runners and having the "Beer Olympics" with his pals.

    He was very thin though.

Hey hey now I don't know if Bender jokes are allowed, I was just informed that they are tired and childish.....

but hey I'm pretty childish so...
Life without water is tough, life without air is hard, life with one leg only is wobbly, Life without Reggie Miller, is impossible.

Veteran Austin Croshere, the longest-tenured Pacers player on the roster, has proven reliable when called upon, invariably ready to step in regardless of the circumstance.

NBA players always look skinny in person. Especially when they are out of uniform.

    David Harrison would look skinny

I guess so. When I went to the preseason game at Ball State, I passed Austin Croshere signing autographs, and he looked really skinny.

I guess TV really does add 10 lbs....
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I know they do but Brad looked very thin. I was amazed at how little muscle tone he had. When you see him on the court next to other guys he looks bulkier. I wonder how in the world he can do anything against someone like Shaq.

Tone isn't everything; ask Tim Duncan. Have you seen that guy without a shirt? You'd think he was 50.

Never would of thought I'd see man boobs on a skinny basketball player. Tractor Traylor I can picture that, but I was taken back by Timmy.

Yes, but not for Shawn Kemp since you can't ever catch him without a corndog in his hand.

    Oliver Miller?
Who was Larry Brown's project here? John "Hot Plate" Williams or something?
