Given that Ike appears to be "3 years away from being 3 years away" from contributing, which would be better for him?

I like what Ike can do but know that he has to develop A LOT. I'm not sure what the best way to do that.
I like to see the strategy of "with the team during home stands, with the G-League during road trips" - with a few exceptions for occasional road trips.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

Had kind of forgotten until just now - anyone know anything about Ben Moore? Seemed like he didn't stand out too much in summer league, not like Leslie. Is he gonna make the roster, or could he be eligible for a two-way deal?
The Pacers signed him to a deal with guaranteed money like they did with Poythress, Bentil, and Stone last season. So he's on our training camp roster until we waive him and we hold his GLeague rights.

Would we convert him to a two-way contract? That would make him an emergency backup at SF. But the base salary of a two-way player is $75k. If we gave him $50k guaranteed money (like Bentil and Stone last year) then he's already making about the same base pay as a two-way player when you add in his GLeague salary. Maybe we'll wait until after training camp to decide if there's a benefit to signing him to a two-way contract.

Bentil and Stone both walked away from Fort Wayne mid-season for foreign money even though they both took the guaranteed money from the Pacers. I guess upgrading Moore to a two-way contract would prevent that.

edit: and of course upgrading Moore to a two-way would ensure that no other team could steal him from us. right now no one would want to steal him.

Do we still hold the rights to Bentil and Stone?

What a mess. How do we think this will go?

    C: Myles - Sabonis - Seraphin
PF: Young - Jefferson - Ike
SF: Bojan - Leaf - Niang
    SG: Oladipo - Lance - GR3
PG: Collison - Buckets - Sumner

    Is that the 15-man roster?
Who is this "Buckets" guy? Is his first name "Charlie"?

I don't think so. Maybe DLeague rights as returning players?

When Stone left the Mad Ants for Europe last season he said he looked forward to being back with the Pacers for training camp. But I don't know if that will happen. I haven't found any info on where he is now.

Bentil is playing summer league for someone else. The Pacers weren't happy when he left the Mad Ants after only 1 game. And he wasn't very good when he came back.

Backcourt is crowded with Vic, Lance, Darren, and Corey. Nice depth? Maybe. I'm not a fan of Collision, and we need another pure shooter aside from Bojan. I for one wanted to see a starting lineup with Lance and Vic... this lineup will play small and without a lot of 3 point shooting if it's Darren and Vic.
