That other starter has to be Bradley or Smart. That trade is worse than the one we got because.......
Hey, to all who like Bradley and hate Oladipo I get it. But keep in mind Bradley would be a free agent next year and that means possibly leaving and possibly earning a hefty contract himself in a year.

I agree I think Leaf is our new SF
My god he can't even defend 4s that well, I can't imagine what his defense would be like on the wing.

Sabonis kind of has potential, I watched him few times last year and he was good.
I don't think he'll be a star, but I think he can be a good starter. A 12/7 kind of guy with the ability to stretch the floor.

Again, how pissed are people gonna be next year when two star players leave the same damn team and go to the Lakers.
Anybody paying attention will already know it's happening so they should've already come to terms

They're going to feel megaton better without Dipo's $$$ on their books.
    This is the darkest timeline.

I'm getting a ticket to the OKC game next season in hopes that PG breaks his leg at Bankers Life. It would be glorious.

    Yeah, it sucks.

    Oh well.

Oladipo is a solid 2 way 2 guard. If the Pacers land Jrue Holliday, that's an athletic, strong and solid defending backcourt. Not what I'd do, but I can see the reasoning. Pair them with Lance at the 3, Thad at the 4 and Turner.

Sabonis....well Arvydas Sabonis is one of my favorite players to find highlights on. Hope his son can be a solid player. I think his game fits with Myles and hopefully could be a good 3rd big for the Pacers down the road.
"man, PG has been really good."

His passing is above average as well.

At least we're one step closer to getting the #1 pick.

I would way rather us get players in the 19-22 range than an overpaid 27 year old.....
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

It would be better than him trying to defend somebody in the post. He doesn't have a strong frame and doesn't project to ever have a strong frame. He's wiry. You can learn footwork, help defense, switching, etc. But you can't learn strength. He'd be a waste of a PF in my opinion. If he's got a future, it's probably at the 3, playing the 4 only in small lineups and probably not even guarding the 4 then.

yeah, that's an interesting thought. Dipo and Lance could probably handle the 2/3 spots between them...shooting's a bit scary though

The post? You been watching the NBA the past few years? No 4s play in the post anymore.

    Everyone sleeping on Sabonis
I mean, he could be garbage for all I know, but he was just a rookie, the 11th pick a year ago, and he seems like he may have a post game and a 3 ball even though he wasn't remotely reliable last season. He could go either way. People may want to refrain from slitting their wrists over him at this point....

I think he can convert to a SF in time, but its going to take some time and dedication to defense.

Hayward's not signing here. We look like a Top 5 worst team in the NBA now.

    Lost Teague. Lost PG.

Time to go all in on that rebuild.

In my opinion Sabonis is worth at least a pick by himself, he has value.
