Ouch that 2-3-2 format could really hurt SA. Boston and LA won't play another finals for another aeon so I do feel really sorry for Spurs fans

I still thinks it benefits them. The Spurs could still win the series if they lose Game 5. The Pistons can't. So Game 5 is more must win for the Pistons than the Spurs.

I said Spurs in 6, and I stand by it. It is hard for a team to win 3 in a row, but we shall see.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

The Spurs have offically been Dar-KO'd.

We never scored this many points on the LAKERS.....

Pistons set an NBA finals RECORD...fewest turnovers in a game. Always nice when you can etch a little part of history in the finals record book. Those are the toughest ones.

Not really man. It's a 3 game series now and SA has homecourt... but Detroit has the momentum and game 5 in their building. In other words, they have a great opportunity to draw first blood. The Pistons are such a completely different team at the Palace it's unfathomable.

    Twice now, right?

My Detroit in 7 prediction is looking pretty good right now.

Apparently you missed Darko's score on Rasho tonight....

The Spurs have got to put the wheels back on. They are better than this. Game 5 is their last BEST shot at winning this series.

Not that I would be surprised if they lost, only to win-out at home, but that's not their best option at all.

BTW, at the very beginning of this series, I said the Pistons have an egde in mental toughness. In my opinion, its beginning to show.

The Spurs have thta deer-in-the-headlights look that they get every time another team matches them physically. They have to be thinking about 2004 all over again.

No I didn't. It was pretty nice, actually.

Darko played the last game, though, didn't he?

Yeah, but when Darko gets in and scores a basket, that's what a lot of Pistons fans call it. Its the final indiginity.

Exactly. Mental toughness and physical play are what lead me to pick Detroit in 7.

Besides, it's always nice win the East wins.

    Oh. Heh.

I didn't notice the KO'd in it at first. I get it.

I agree. And it really is starting to remind me of of that Lakers series. On one hand, when I look at it from the Pistons' perspective, I'm not that surprised at this. But when I look at it from the Spurs' perspective, I KNOW they are a terrific basketball team, and if I were them I'd be upset at how far their quality had dropped on the road. They were outstanding in the first two games. I'm not even sure if I'd call them average these past two.

Aye, this series is by no means over.

Brown just gave a nod to RC about instituting the style of play that the Pistons practice.
