I thought it was an awfully late cheer, if that's the case. It seemed like it was after they noticed he wasn't getting up.

(Really not trying to be arguementative.)
Did you catch the fan who yelled "That's the way to foul him Billups" after that. I'll admit I'm sure that there's some frustration in that cheer too.

It's the flat-out truth. If you think the Pistons can beat this team 4 out of 5, without a series-ending injury to Duncan or Manu, you're nuts. I have to question anyone's NBA knowledge who believes that. The Spurs are really exposing the Pistons right now, whether you want to admit it or not.
And I'm telling you the truth.

I'll facre reality IF we lose the series, but NOT before.

The Pistons are in the NBA finals. These are moments I want to remember ROOTING for my team, not throwing up a white flag like a sissy.

And yes, I believe the Pistons can still win the series. That's why the NBA has best of 7 series, and not best of three.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Better to root for a one-time champ than to have a signature pic of a never-was champ.

And I say that in direct reference to the fact you call a player who hasn't won a thing, "champ."

I just choose to accept reality before you do, I guess. I have no problem losing to the Spurs. They'll win because they're better. And I'm still watching, and still rooting.

Wow...apparently Chauncy is the only Piston to hit a 3 this series

already talking 2006 in your sig? Sounds like the cry of a beaten fan. You know it's over and deep down you don't want to admit it. It's ok tho, Maybe you will come to that game when indy travels to detroit. I'll meet up with you and we can have a few beers and talk about the a$$ whipping the pacers handed the Pistons that night. As for ron not being a champ, well then you obviously don't understand where I'm coming from when I say that.
Heres to it tho. It will be official, just wait and see.

    No, didn't catch that.

BTW, I didn't think they could call a lane violation until AFTER they shot. For that very reason. He hit the attempt that they whistled, but missed the second one.

I've seen that called a few times this season, when both players obviously go in. Break for the Pistons there, who've come out with some desperation this quarter.

It doesn't say "NBA Champ." For all you know Ron could have won his heart, and is now the Champ of his life.

Yeah, I've always loved to discuss regular season games in november. Maybe I could bring up the time we creamed you in preseason. We could ahev a ball.

s for ron not being a champ, well then you obviously don't understand where I'm coming from when I say that.

Actually, no. I've never called any of my players "champ" when they in fact hadn't won a thing. I can't relate to that, sorry.

Needless to say, it doesn't say "NBA Champ."

If he really is a his champ, it's so nice of you to try and step on his feelings.

    Two other notes:
    1) what in the hell is Rip talking about saying Bowen hasn't stopped him? That's straightup denial.

    2) Ben really reall really really needs to stop trying to take charges. It's going to be a no call 99% of the time.

Manu is one thing, but Parker CLEARLY gets bothered by physical play. Knock him to the ground a few times, and he'll think twice about his next drive opportunity.....

Although Parker and Manu still seem to be undeterred so far - last 3 Spurs baskets have been layups by those 2

I hate games officiated like this one. Any time somebody gets hammered they let it go. Anytime someone touches somebody, they blow the whistle. They have it backwards.

Now Detroit can stop crying about the officials. How can Ben mug Manu coming off that screen and it not be a foul? Of course, it's interesting that you don't see the Spurs crying like Detroit does. Must come from the philosophy of the coach. Wallace was even complaining at the end of the quarter.

Detroit better capitalize early in this quarter or they will lose.
