    Arrow Pistons/Spurs Game 3 Thread

    :thepiston vs

Time to dig out all the usual clichés - this is pretty much a must-win game for
Detroit tonight, and I fully expect them to play that way. Pistons in a close win.

Spurs in a blowout win. 20 plus points. Stevie Wonder even did a song about the Pistons feelings in the pregame.

    ....thus ensuring the victory. Thanks.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Nah. San Antonio's too good a team to try a reverse jinx on. I already expressed my thoughts on how the series will go. Spurs will win in 6.

    I voted for other.

I think the low ratings are due mostly to the media telling people how "boring" this series is going to be.

That is the main topic, so the casual supporter say " Why bother".

I would rather be the hammer than the nail

Isn't that the same as choice # 3 in the poll?

    I voted option 1, but I think it's a combo of 1, 3, and 4.

Well, my original prediction was Pistons in 5.

I guess I have to say this:

    Pistons in 6.

I think my favorite performance at a sporting event was the time Ray Charles performed 'America the Beautiful' at the 2nd Leonard/Duran fight in New Orleans (might be a little before most posters' time, I know...)

The pre-game festivities for Game 1 went even longer. Must drive the players nuts having to wait so much for the games to start.

Ginobilli injured his knee? Not a good way for the Spurs to start this game.

This could be a chance for Brent Barry to have a big game if Ginobilli can't go much tonight.

Actually, credit that play to the help defender (didn't see who it was...Rip or Chauncey?). They knocked the ball out of Duncan's hand, it just happened to go up to where Ben was.

I can't watch. I'm trying to watch the game, but all I keep thinking is "What if the brawl never happened. I think we'd be playing right now, I might even be in Conseco watching the game. Or maybe we'd have a 2-0 lead playing in San Antonio." I haven't watched a game yet in the series, and i don't think Ill be able to watch untill its an elimination game. At least then I can watch the Pistons CRY!!!!

Yep. All players that take charges against bigger players driving down the lane are pussies.
