Rumor is Knicks are trying to trade for Bledsoe, man I'm going to be so mad
I don't get why you always want injury prone players on the Pacers

If they are players he likes they aren't "injury prone" just "sometimes injured".

Rumor is a 3 year $20 million dollar deal. Just under $7 million/year? I'd have loved that for the Pacers, and we should have gone for it.

20 mil for Simmons is crazy good, not sure why nobody did better than that.

We don't have any place for him. We will struggle to find minutes for our SG's and SF's as it is.

Probably in part because Jonathon Simmons will be 28 before the season begins. Also last season his shooting %'s dropped by nearly 9% from the field, and from the 3 point line. Playing limited minutes 15 per game as a rookie and 18 last season; he remains in many ways an unknown. So 3 years at less than 7 mil a season would seem to still be a little pricey to some teams. For the Pacers they could see him in the same light as Chris Copeland, shows promise in limited minutes but is he up to any thing more than that?

The Spurs didn't want him. Why the hell should we? Wake up. Guy will suck in Orlando

Exactly. If he was any good, the Spurs would not have just let him go. They would have kept him or traded him.

The Spurs don't want to tie up too much cap space for nect summer. By that logic every non max free agent sucks. That is the thought process of a child.

    Simmons
    Fournier
    Ross
    Hezonja

Orlando would make a good trade partner for us.

Hezonja hasn't shown **** all yet in the NBA, but I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him.

You wouldn't want Terrence Ross as a shooter? He's due $10 mil next season and $10 mil the season after that. Free agent in the Summer of 2019. Or Evan Fournier? Evan Fournier would make an excellent part of our future core. He's locked up until the Summer of 2020. He's a great scorer and shooter, and is young enough to fit into that Oladipo/Turner core.

Terrence Ross isn't any good, so no, I don't want him. I really like Fournier, but think the Magic would want too much for him.

I'd want Fournier or Ross. We might lose GR3 next Summer depending on if we let him go or he has a great season and someone throws him a crazy offer sheet. Either way, I think we need another 3 pt bomber on the team. Fournier would be a great fit for our long term.

Evan is just 24 years old
6'7 and can play SF or SG
He is under contract for 3 more seasons at $17 mil per

If Orlando is looking to shed salary or maybe add some more size, Thad for Evan makes sense. Thad makes $14 mil next season with a player option for next Summer. Right now Orlando has....

    Fournier
    Ross
    Gordon
    Hezonja
    Simmons
    Isaacs

All of these players can play SF and SG, or just SF. Log-jam, I think they'd be open to a deal.

Are the Pacers clearing room with the Niang waive to be the 3rd or 4th team in the Rockets/Knicks Melo deal? Probably not, but KP is making moves.

At this point, there's nothing left other than trade some combination of Jefferson, Ellis, and both Youngs.

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

I like Fournier, but I don't see what we can offer to entice Orlando.
