Darko in, throwing the airball hook.

Manu's going to hurt himself the way he plays.

The vaunted Pistons defense is getting shredded, likely to the tune of 100+.

This is not the thread for it, but Ginobili is too fast for Artest. Ron's weakness is quick players, and long players (Prince). Ginobili is quick/fast.

Well, here's my prediction for the rest of the series.

Remember the 96 Finals between the Bulls (the 72 win Bulls) and the Sonics. The Bulls won the first two at home and went to Seattle, beat the Sonics badly in Game 3 and won in 6.

That's what I think happens here. The Spurs will go into the Palace and lay some serious smack down on the Pistons. It'll probably be similar to this game. Then the Spurs will let down mentally, like they did against the Suns. Well, the Pistons are better than the Suns, and the games are at home, so I see the Pistons winning Games 4 & 5, before the Spurs clinch Game 6 at home in a close, back and forth game.

So I'm going with Spurs in 6.

Like Kenny Smith said after Vince Carter's first dunk in the 2000 slam dunk contest, "It's OVER. It's OVER."

I can see that, though I'm thinking more like a Piston-Spurs-Pistons pattern in the next 3 games in Detroit

I'll be interested to see how the Pistons' respond in this second game. Will Hamilton break out of his slump? Can they put the clamps on Ginobilli?
I guess the answer to these questions tonight were no (14 pts, but only 5-15 shooting) , and heck no (27 pts on 6-8 from the field, 11-13 from the FT line)!

Interesting what happens agianst Detroit when you have ball movement and dribble penatration. Detroit's offense is horrible. I know the Spurs defense has a lot to do with it, but they were getting no dribble pen. and did not make the Spurs move from side to side at all. If Bowen keeps Hamilton in check like this the whole series he should get even more DPOY votes next year.

I'm pretty confident. Every time this team gets backed into a wall, it brings its best.

Any other Pistons team, I'd be really worried though. I have nothing to go on except recent history, and the fact this team has ALWAYS responded to adversity.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Hey Kstat, glad you made an appearance and are still positive. I too, think the Pistons will bounce back but not all the way.

I was a little afraid we were going to have to put you on suicide watch !!

Just hang in there as the Pistons will win game 3.

There are reasons and excuses the excuses you hear all the time such as offciating and injuries. Then there are the reasons.

    The Spurs are better.
