If Phx did that, they would deserve all the wrath and hatred from their fanbase lol man thats an ugly trade
I mean, if they made the playoffs you could sell it a little?

It really isn't a horrible trade for Phoenix. Bledsoe is expendable because of Tyler Ullis. A duo of Paul George and Devin Booker is a playoff team
Being unable to close out a game in which you have a comfortable lead in the 4th Q = Pulling a Frank Vogel

I'd take it. Options galore at #4. I'd go De'Aaron Fox, and try to send Bledsoe elsewhere.
Malik Monk is the best scorer in this draft. Shooting guard of the future. He's THE ONE. You can flip Beldsoe to the Knicks for the 8th pick.

Woj on Facebook is talking about Phoenix wanting to move their #4 for somebody like PG but they know is going to be some risk.
#4 and some future 1st round picks would get my attention.

Says Phoenix has held talks for Paul George. It mentions Bledsoe, so maybe Bledsoe and #4 for Paul George and #18 (though hopefully we don't have to include our pick).
Staring at Randle+two late firsts all day, and then seeing this, I'm beside myself. If that's even a remote possibility, Pritch better be offering a key to the city and a new car to get that done. If #4 is on the table, you take it and run, and suddenly the #2 is worst case scenario because I'd rather have #4 and NOT help the Lakers!
It's a new day for Pacers Basketball.

If Pritchard gets that haul for PG, I say we give him a number and then retire it.

I'd assume he would rather do that than trade away good, young, and cheap assets from the team he is wanting to play for.
If that's the case he shouldn't have said anything! No matter what by opening his mouth he is costing the team assets. Randle and late picks? Those are assets.

And PG does not want to waste a year of his career, that's what this is probably all about.

#4 and Bledsoe for PG and 18.

If that were to happen pencil in Jonathan Isaac for the Pacers pick.

One season of the playoffs and then Paul bolts to LA.

Meanwhile the #4 pick plays well here and becomes a real player...only to bolt to LA after his second contract lol.

But Phoenix would miss out on those first 6-8 years in exchange for a single season with Paul.

    Thats incredibly crappy

I'm really not sold on Monk being anything more than Jamal Crawford type. Although that is super good, it's not the star I'd want.

There is a chance we could flip Bledsoe + 4 for Porzingis it sounds like if PHX prefers PG over Porzingis...would you prefer Porzingis or Bledsoe +4?

Hey I'm with you, it's dumb. But I could see a team that's had a playoff drought valuing a run and their not in love with anyone at their pick.

    So many dumb owners.

Cmon. They're assets, the Pacers just want more. You think Randle and late first rounders are worthless when you're about to have 3 max guys?

I absolutely can't believe the owner of the Knicks doesn't fire Phil Jackson ASAP. He's about to trade the best asset they've had in a very long time. I'd offer Paul George, #18, and a 2018 unprotected pick.

Anyone think Phil would take Bledsoe and 4 for Porky and their lotto pick? (8 I think)

No way Phx trades for Paul George. It would be a 3 team trade but Phx is not trading the 4th pick for PG. No way, not happening.

I'm seeing reports from Boston people that The Vertical mentioned in their show tonight that Boston thinks they can resign PG & that both teams will engage in talks tomorrow. If it's LA & indy or BOS & Indy I'm starting to think SAC gets involved

Great question. Pork is special. But on the other hand, Bledsoe would be a fill in for the starting pg position and grab Tatum for the starting SF spot.

They'd only have one max guy though. You can't make moves with assumptions of future max player additions in mind

I just think a lot of people are going to be disappointed in what we get out of this.

Yeah and I think it's gonna hurt our chance at the #4 for PG - guessing Porzingis for 4 and Chriss or Bledsoe would be the trade with PHX. And I think PHX would prefer Porz over Paul for a year .

Because I've read that SAC is willing to trade #10 to move back in 1st & also has interest in a veteran type player.

    LA: #5, PG
    IND: #10, #27, #28, player?
SAC: #2, #18, Thad Young? Or someone but those are the picks unless we can keep 18 & SAC takes 27 or 28?

Have you read what's going on? Lakers plan is to get a few max guys in. That's why they are clearing space.

But again, I know you understand PG is costing them assets in any trade.
