    Mohammed with the crazy shot.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

    Very good game so far
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

We also have a few guys - Sheed, Billups and Rip- that have given SA fits, Sheed especially.

Rasheed Wallace plays better against Tim Duncan than any other player in the NBA. So much of Rasheed's offensive production is based off of motivation, and there's no greater challenge at PF than Tim Duncan.

The Pistons have one advantage that no other NBA team has- they don't really have to double tim duncan. Sheed bothers the living crap out of him.

Not so far anyway. Those regular season stops don't matter.

Spurs are controlling the tempo right now. Actually, they have ever since Lindsey Hunter came in the game in the first quarter.

damn, they play great defense (the spurs).

Both actually I like Smith a lot because his lyrics are really fun to listen to, and they aren't filled with **** or ***** every 3 lines. He did a really good job with the album that just came out, Lost and Found.
I will agree with you about the lack of cussing, that is refreshing.

    I'm just not a big rap/hip-hop fan.

That's cool. It's funny because in the new album, he really makes fun of everyone else, it's hilarious

Holy crap, Spurs defense is just plain nasty right now. Detroit is in big trouble because they run so much offense through Rip, yet Bowen has him in an absolute defensive straitjacket right now.

As for the talk of Sheed giving Duncan problems one on one, that's baloney. Maybe a couple of blocks. Sheed is a great defender, but Duncan is an incredibly polished post scorer...you could build a brick wall in front of the basket and he'll still score. They have to double because you can push Shaq off the block and give him 10 footers and he won't make those chippies, but Duncan usually will. And in the rare event he misses the refs usually will call a phantom foul to make up for that

This is why I love the Spurs. Things get physical, they 9/10 shut up and play through it. The Pistons, when it happens and it's not to their advantage, flop and whine 9/10.

It should be pretty obvious now that Duncan > Shaq.

If the Pistons let this one slip away, this could end up being a very short series.

As I write this, the Spurs go up by 12.

The Pistons are REALLY good, but the Spurs are REALLY, REALLY good.

And he's doing it being guarded by Rasheed Wallace and the Piston's team defense, too.
