there isn't a player in the NBA that isn't %100 by this point.
    True.

For the record, I think the Pacers and Nets series' in '04 could have easily gone either way w/o the injuries, MAYBE even the Bucks series (they were awesome at times w/Ford). The Lakers series was all Detroit.

This year, once again, the Pacers series could have easily gone the other way without a suspended Ron. But even at 100% minus Ron, I'm not sure the Pacers would have won the series.

As for Miami, it depends on how well Wade plays tonight. There is almost always a "throwaway game" in each series. Miami's was Game 6. If Wade plays like he isn't injured tonight , and Detroit wins, they're the better team.

But don't try to act like the Pistons have not gotten more than their fair share of breaks in the injuries department.

    Pistons will win.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Now, to this year. Iverson was injured? Fooled the f*** out of me with the way he played. He had the single most dominant game any player has had against the Pistons the last two years in the playoffs (37 points, 15 assists in Game 3).

i think this is a similar response u will get from all the playoff teams and their fans regarding rasheeds supposed injury last year...u know..plantar fasciatis or however its spelled....

rumor has it this injury was just created to get his reefer habit a medicinal use prescription for the playoffs...

as far as the needing to be lucky part to win championships....noone can ever say the pistons havent been lucky....as i like to say....the stars aligned themselves last year....and they have a great deal this year as well....but i think the galaxy has done about all it can do for the pistons....i have a feeling they might lose tonite...but who knows...they might win and duncan might sprain his bum ankle again in game 1 of the finals-at this point, who would be that surprised?

Rumor also has it Tinsley wasn't really injured last year.....he was playing possum to get billups to go easy on him......

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    Hey it's
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I don't like what I'm seeing from Detroit so far.

"Miami can't win if [Eddie Jones] doesn't play well. He played well in games 1 and 3, and struggled in the others..."

    Didn't Miami win game 5?

"8:35 Miami jumps out to an early 9-4 lead on 3s from Damon Jones, Eddie Jones and Wade (which brings down the house). Larry Brown calls a quick timeout and contemplates sneaking out of the building like D.C. Dacey in the middle of the final game in "Fast Break."

Collins actually said that Wade needed a play ran for him to get "emotionally into the game." Lord knows he didn't come into it ready.

If Detroit was playing this crappy vs the Pacers, they would've lost.

Seriously, too bad, huh? Couldn't LB try to get into Cleveland then? Bah

They won't. San Antonio should destroy either team. They do everything a bit better than Detroit, and Miami is so banged up, and the Spurs got a ton of bodies against Shaq, including Rasho, the Shaq stopper.

8:55 With the Pistons behind 17-10, the first round of Detroit fans start making snide, "Man, it would have been nice if Ben Wallace showed up for this series" comments.
