That was excellent. Miami was the toughest challenger to Detroit's championship runs thus far, and the next opponent is a far better team. The Flopping Ginobili/Prince and Parker/Billups matchups will be awesome. Duncan will struggle a little because he can't get position like Shaq, but he actually makes his chippies and free throws. Mohammed and the off the ball Pistons big will be pretty interesting, because they really really manhandled Udonis Haslem badly in this series. Also, the Spurs having so many guys who can create offense will be ...

Okay screw the analysis, I'm already way ahead of myself. This is going to be an awesome final.

    TNT stole my idea!

I was planning on making a Pacers video to this song. Foo Fighters - Best Of You. They've edited the song a bit but it's basically intact.

You're still going to make one, right? The one you made last year was great.

I'd love to, but the truth is, I need more highlites. NBA.com KILLED me when they stopped using .mov and .avi to show all the highlites. I have to make them manually now if I want any, and that's very time consuming.

I shouldn't even offer my aid, but what the hell.

You need to download a stream recorder and capture the streaming video.

It will take a little work but you can grab the streaming real media file by getting the file to play in the outside viewer by right clicking and selecting play in real player, then you use file->properties to find the actually stream.

Unless they really locked it down tight.

I have one, and I may yet go that route, but the app I use doesn't consistently capture the entire file correctly. But more importantly, it's in a real media format. Now that wouldn't bother me in and of itself, but the video editor I use, Vegas, for whatever reason doesn't read real media, so I can't even use the downloaded streams. It's strange; Vegas can't read real media, but it can render other files into real media.

there are real media converters out there such as:

Not sure if how well they work.

I'm thinking they've really locked these down tight. I found what as best I can tell is the real URL to the streaming file, it's some .smi file. I have two apps I tried to use, neither worked.

I do have one final hitch, however. Right now it's a trial version. After 5MB or 2 minutes (whichever comes first), it stops recording. My attempts to get around that have failed so far.
