I'll have to see it for myself to be fair, but it sounds like he should be suspended for it. Which of course means there's a good chance he won't be.

No, it was very intentional, he looked at him as he was doing it. Almost to take aim. There's no doubt it was.

You're right though he won't be suspended. The refs did the right thing, and I was happy to see that. Glad to see that AK got the last laugh though.

    It was absolutely intentional.

I agree you could see him turn and look down at AK before he did it. He should be suspended a game for it.

Of course for a Jazz fan to complain about a player throwing an elbow is ironic.

Are we sure he wasn't thinking to himself, "Is this Ostertag punk getting smaller, or I am getting that much bigger?"

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

I saw the clip from ESPN motion. Looked intentional enough to me.

I think it comes down to they treat him differently (the league, refs, whatever) because of his size, so he should have different expectations than "normal" NBA players when it comes to being responsible with your body. He could easily seriously hurt somebody out there at his size, strength, and weight.

I just saw it on ESPN motion too....thats just pathetic. I hate that guy almost as much as Phil Jackson.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

It was nothing compared to what Betuzzi (of the Vancouver Canucks) did to Steve Moore of the Colorado Avalanche in hockey last night.

One writer's opinion isn't tough enough, as far as I'm concerned. Moore has a concussion, a couple of huge cuts and a fractured neck, and will be out of hockey for the rest of the year. Bertuzzi should be out of hockey for life and in prison for several years.

For some reason, I can't link the video, but it's available on ESPN.com.

I am not a hockey fan, but the word was that they were basically plotting an attack on Moore because of an injury he caused earlier in the season or something like that. There is no doubt in my mind that criminal charges are appropriate here.

On the Shaq ejection: "Bob Delaney's known to be very prejudiced against Shaquille. We know that, so we wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a good call," Jackson said. "But I'm not going to make a comment on that right now."

Uhhh, phil, isn't that a comment?
