    Default The Suns have set

I figured I may as well beat ESPN.com/NBA.com/etc. to the obvious headline.

One half of the NBA Finals is set. Will it be the :thepiston or the to face the for the ?

Damn the Spurs are good. I'm starting to think we couldn't have beaten them this year with a healthy roster and Ron back.

We always play SA very well. I think we could have beaten them if we were healthy.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Suns team reminds me a lil of us last year. A lot of wins, best record in the league, lose in the conference finals, blah blah

Whoever wins the East is going to be the underdog in the NBA Finals.

Really impressive by the Spurs. Beating the team with the best record THREE times on the road.

    "Us?"

Phoenix also lost 3 home games in the series.

The Spurs have shown that they can play at any pace. Detroit/S.A. would be the better series, but the Shaq/S.A. angle always makes for good pub. Only a week until I watch b-ball again! Are there other things to do?

I am amazed that the team with the year's best player, coach, executive plus two other all NBA team members got so easily beat in a series.

This was clearly a team built for the regular seasons.

Well, when the MVP does nothing in the 2nd half of the biggest game of the season it doesn't help. Am I the only one that thinks Joe Johnson is getting big bucks this summer?

That's such a cop out. 4-1 doesn't look quite that way, but this series was extremely competitive. Every time coming down to who could play better in the 4th. The Suns showed that when they compete on defense (games 4, 5) they are on the level of the Spurs, the soon-to-be champs. Before you can advance to the finals, you need to lose and have your rite of passage. It's a rule of the playoffs.

The Suns played a great offensive game..But good lord, they cannot rebound or defend anybody on the spurs roster.
