Nope - watching the delayed telecast of the race.

Well, we've face worse before, but this is pretty damn close.

Oh well, game 4 is obviously a must-win. Game 5 as well.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I didn't watch it either, no real interest, but I know the Spurs have even more reason to win tomorrow. A nice long break while Miami and Detroit kill each other.

I watched it and I have to say DWade has a chance of being a great like MJ, Magic, Bird...

Its the combo of talent and a little bit of smarts, its scary for anyone in the East.

I caught the 4th quarter once I got home from the Knights game.

I must say, Hunter played outstanding. I also have to agree with Van Gundy's statement, that Eddie Jones' 3-pointer in the last 5 minutes or so was crucial...a turning point indeed.

And for Rasheed, what we already know: he is an amazing one-on-one defender. Also, he needs to shutup; that was a stupid technical.

Oh yeah, and it seemed as though Shaq got away with a couple things on the offensive end tonight...not to mention what he gets away with against Elden Campbell.

shaq gets away with a lot.

Doesn't give the team any right to play differently.`

This has been a great, great playoff series. Each game has been really interesting. For some reason tonight I wanted the Heat to win, even though I think I want the Pistons to win the series, but I have trouble rooting for the Pistons when they play at home.

The second half tonight was facinating. Heat played great for 6 minutes, the Pistons played graeat for the next 12, then the Heat played great the last 6 minuites.

I still think the Pistons will win this series, but if they lose game #4, they are in obviously big trouble.

But overall this series has been as good of a series as I 've seen in a few years. At least through 3 games.

Nothing earth shattering there, considering Shaq has gotten star treatment since the mid 90's

He does get away with a lot but his defenders also get away with a lot.

With two minutes and change in the game, with a 8 point lead, I did not understand why the Pistons were fouling the Heat with atleast 14 secs left on the clock. Did they not trust their defense or what. Rasheed, I can see it happen but I can't believe that even Chauncey got a tech.

Lindsey was the best defender out their tonight. That strip he had on Wade was awesome.

I think that Detroit really could have pulled out a W if they would have had the mindset 'We can still win this we're only down__(^1,6,7,10), they basically just got frustrated and gave up.

It's kind of a shame that you can't get any Reggie type moments anymore like the 8pts, now it just seems that everybody is giving up and not focusing.I really like and respect the Miami team (-Shaq), But I really want the Pistons to win the series.

haha wasn't it hilarious when Ben took that 3? haha, I loved it.

That pretty much hits the nail on the head. Pistons imploded there for a crucial stretch in the 4th quarter.

I can't believe the World Champion Detroit Pistons didn't have their World Champion Composure. I'm sure the World Champion Coach Larry Brown will rally his World Champion team for the crucial Game 4, or the World Champions will be in trouble on their World Champion Home Court.

There was some resentment there, but I didn't see exactly where.....

I watched the second half after coming home from seeing Revenge of The Sith - which was unfreakin' believably good. The FX in that movie was just over the top. I digress - back to the game. I thought Miami just played great. Wade was spectacular again. If a team can score 100+ against detroit, chances are they'll win. I was shocked to see Detroit lose composure so quickly in the fourth. They just unraveled.

This is a great series, but if Detroit doesn't win game 4, their reign is close to over.
I think a Spurs - Miami finals will be great to see.

Sorry Kstat, as much as I respect the Pistons as a team, I hope they don't get to the finals. I've seen enough of them for one season.

Detroit unravels quite a bit when they are losing. Remember 11/19?

the pistons are a very good team that won a championship...however, ive never been convinced they were truly a championship team....

ive been saying for quite some time(not necessarily here) that the pistons wouldnt repeat for two reasons....

the stars wont align this year like they did last year....

and theyre simply not as good as they were last year...

Shaq is limited defensively somewhat because of the injury, so having the Shaq/Mourning lineup for 4th quarters is a godsend for the Heat. That lineup completely clogs up the lane and shuts down the middle, even worse than WallaceX2 mostly because they're bigger/more intimidating from my observation. If they were healthy (and maybe if they were younger, but they definitely both have some skills now) that would be the most dominant defensive frontcourt ever, Duncan/Robinson be damned.

I think the most pleasing aspect of the series is watching Wade torch the Pistons, instead of actually BEING IN a Pistons uniform...
