    Default Reggie courted by ESPN

Sorry if this has already been posted... I haven't seen it yet though

"ESPN plans to speak with the recently retired Reggie Miller about joining the network as an NBA analyst for next year.

"We are interested in talking to him," an ESPN spokesman said.

ABC also makes sense as a possible landing spot next year. TNT would, too, but there is likely no room on its deep roster.

A TNT spokesman said the network hopes to add Miller to its Eastern Conference Final studio show."

I'd like to see Reggie sitting with Ernie, Kenny, Charles, and sometimes Magic. Especially Charles... what fun that would be!

Don't do it, Reggie. You won't have a voice!

I hope Reggie does it. I don't want him on ESPN, I'd want to see him in the TNT studio. But I'd prefer ESPN to nothing. Maybe he could switch.

ESPN needs Reggie BADLY. He might be their answer to Charles Barkley.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Reggie and Charles on a show together. Reggie puts on about 100 pounds to keep up with Charles. Or perhaps the other direction. Reggie looks more and more ominously like the black cript keeper.

    Hmmm...

ESPN really does need Reggie, but I hope he goes to TNT, just because I don't want to have to watch ESPN's basketball coverage.

I'd be interested in what Reggie would say to Stephen A though.

Reggie, go ahead and do it, but remember that at least once during every telecast when Charles feels less important because of your presence he will say, "Damn, your ears are big."

I thought I liked Charles, but after watching him for 3 months I'm more than a little tired of him. I haven't seem Mark on ESPN all that much. I think he'll get better at it as time goes on. I know he'll be better if ESPN would ever be smart enough to pair Reggie and him up in the studio.

I could never get tired of Charles Barkley, he says the honest truth about the game, but he has alot of fun, and is a lot of fun to watch. I love how he always always has the last word. It has hilarious the other night when he was talking about Alonzo Mourning's suit.
Life without water is tough, life without air is hard, life with one leg only is wobbly, Life without Reggie Miller, is impossible.

Veteran Austin Croshere, the longest-tenured Pacers player on the roster, has proven reliable when called upon, invariably ready to step in regardless of the circumstance.

My thoughts exactly. Though I'd expect Reggie to call Stephen A a "stupid fool" at least once a show. Which might be just enough to watch the ****hole that is ESPN.

And who knows, maybe he could fill in on PTI instead of Stephen A or the hateable Dan Lebatard.

I don't mind him having the last word if the last word is an intelligent one. Calling Ernie ugly or pointing out that Reggie has big ears, while true, is tiresome to me, not funny.

(Just to make things clear, I was referring to Reggie's impending hiring at ESPN, not TNT. I'd love for Reggie to join TNT's staff.)
