I'm guessing it's the poster that seems to have the best fix for the team and/or an X's and O's type
    * Most Humorous Poster Nominee (2004, 2005, 2010)
    * Off Topic Post of the Year Winner (2009)

I'd say MVP would be a poster that keeps the forum moving. A person that posts a lot (altho not necessarily all of the time) and is interesting. A person you like to read whether you agree or not. That person wouldn't have to be an X and O guy per se'. It could be but wouldn't have to be. IOW, a person that sparks discussion (and in a good way... not a troll of course).

damn, this might be the toughest poll of the year.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    Division Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
    Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005
    NBA Champions 1989, 1990, 2004

I agree. Peck is forum MVP, in my opinion, so it's really down to Bball, Jay and UB for me.

*goes to check and see who voted for him for MIP*

Welp, I was leaning toward Bball, but he nearly cost me the MIP award with his vote for DD. Jay gets my hard-earned vote.

I vote for Jay as well. He's got old-school NBA knowledge, and experience counts for a lot in this catagory. No Sophmore slump for Jay.

    I miss the Person/English avatar....

Where's is beast23, that is who I want to vote for. Can I write him in. Why others did not nominate him is beyond me.

Beast you have my vote, but I guess I can't vote for him.

This is a tough one. Everyone on the list knows the NBA, but in a close call, I'll go with Kegboy

I talked in the MIP about Bball's improvement this year. I've really enjoyed his analysis as of late, so he gets my vote.

I can't believe I just voted for Jay.

I mean, every piece of analysis he puts out is fatally flawed.

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Man, I knew those Monkey Business-esque pictures of me ogling Pacemates instead of watching the game would come back and bite me in the ***. Thanks, Magic Rat!

And yes, the two votes I've gotten are from my sister and UB's placeholder for beast23.

I'll bet you'll make a strong showing in "Most Likely to Ogle", though.........

No, I could never beat heywoode and his pictures. If there ever was a award for "pathetic whining about having season tickets when 99% of the board would kill to have them", then maybe I could win.

Did Hicks ever say what the write-in races are gonna be?

No, it was never decided. If any of you really want one, get organized and I'll set it up.

    Congratulations, Peck!

    I didn't vote but I would've also submitted a write-in for Beast23.

Congrats Peck. I think we were separated by one vote last season, also.

Thank-you to the folks that nominated/ voted for me.

When politicians vote, who do you think they vote for? Themselves! You could have been the tying vote if you would just stop thinking about others for a moment and think of yourself.

Well, I could have been the tying vote if I wasn't in the middle of Rocky Mountain National Park, with no internet access.

Uh oh... I sense a need to revote. There was obviously some type of conspiracy afoot to keep you from voting.

    Hanging chads and now this....

I even thought about that before I left... When I checked in last Monday, all that was going on around here was finger-pointing and debate over whether Ron was wearing short-shorts. So I was just hoping that we weren't voting on any of 'my' categories last week.

Its not like Peck (or any of the other candidates) is un-deserving, even if I don't want to surrender my title.
