Thread: Did anyone hear Carlisle in the post-game?

He was asked about possible changes to the make-up of the team in the off-season, and he did not hesistate for one second in saying that some changes need to be made. (Come to think of it, he did say this after saying Artest would be back, but made no mention of Bender). He said he trusted in LB and DW to do what he had to do.

I would be surprised if Pollard, Cro and/or JB are back next year.

Do you even think Rick remembers that bender is on the team? Or should I say - roster?

I heard some of that last night, but I vividly remember Rick saying after last season that changes needed to be made and he pretty much foreshadowed that Al would be traded

I wouldn't be surprised if they're all still here. I suppose someone would want Scot with his bad back, but doesn't he have a pretty big sallary? Who is going to want Austin with his huge contract? As for JB unless he retires or we cut him (as much as it pains me to say) who would want him?

Pollard is now officialy an ending deal. Someone will want that. Of course they will want to send us some long term mistake they made.

Somehow, Austin became bargain basement with last summer's contracts.

And two mistakes make an improvement on what we already have?

No I am saying I could see someone wanting Pollard's ending deal in exchange for a long term contract on their books, a bad contract. For example I could see New York taking him for one of their horrible mistakes.

I'd rather keep Pollard than trade him. We don't need to be picking up more salary.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
