Thanks for the memories, 31.........
For the 1st time, I can say I can understand a reaction of Stephen Jackson; that picture of him kneeling down like that is every emotion I can think of.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
----------------- Reggie Miller
Notice Jackson in the 2nd to last picture. The moment Reggie started to head to the bench he got down like that. He only does that when he feels he has failed. Sad and touching at the same time to see him do it here. He wanted to give Reggie what the Spurs gave David Robinson.
The 7th picture down (or the 4th from the end) is the best one IMO. The one with Reggie in the corner, Jackson kneeling, and the Pistons starters and coaching staff and the Pacers players and coaching staff giving tribute.
I noticed Jax as it was happening live, J.O was very distraught also
Good stuff. A tough loss that had a nice ending.
bump for those who didn't get to see them.
"If I have the ball, I will shoot it, you have to believe that," - Stephen Jackson
Those are awesome pictures. I didn't realize the Piston players came clear over to the Pacer bench. That moment gets better and better.
The best exercise of the human heart is reaching down and picking someone else up.
Great photos. The picture of Jax kneeling down brings tears to my eyes, because its exactly how i felt.
Thanks MagicRat for the glimpse of a great moment in Pacers history.....
Great pics yet again!
I saw how pissed and sad Jack was that we lost, he got bent down and put his jersey over his head like he was about to cry, he seemed so sad about Reggie leaving the court. JO too, JO looked like he was about to tear the whole arena apart.
Great pics MR
Those are some really quality shots. Thanks a ton, MR.
JO looked pissed towards the end of that game...But JO played well and did his best..I understand why SJax was crouched at the line..He played pretty bad along with some of the other players on the Pacers so I'm sure they took it really hard.
