Now that is more like it!

Fred needs to go to the hole more. His shot has been sporadic since he broke that bone in his hand. With his speed, and his hops, he could be almost as difficult to guard as Tinsley for the Pistons.

JO and Dale are not blocking out. They've been worthless. I hope to God Rick lights them up at halftime.

If they drove to the basket the 12 damn times they shot a 3, we would be winning right now.

I know it looks bleak, but the Pacers aren't gonna shoot that bad in the 2nd half. The Defense has been awesome for both teams, but the Pacers have missed so many wide open shots its sick. I expect this one to come down to the last minute or so.

    up by 13 at halftime.

Its not 17, but I'll take it. We played lindseya full 4 minutes and only got outscored by 4. Thats a win in my book.

More importantly, Arroyo is in no foul trouble, so he can play the 2nd half all he wants.

McDyess FINALLY decided to show up tonight. I'm glad.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

That's fine. If I'm you guys I'd be perfectly happy with this. I thought all along the Pistons would come out with a lot of force and you had to weather it and respond. I expected you to be down 10-12 at half (13's close enough).

The first 4 minutes of the 2nd half are key - you can play them even or cut the lead - you can't give them an 8-2 run or something like that. If it's still about a 10-pt game with 8 minutes gone you'll be fine.

Though obviously you need to quit throwing up all those 3's. A few were OK but several were early in the clock and several others were to avoid a violation.

    Keep the faith.

I think we are all in agreement here. We need to drive into the paint more. We have a higher probability of either scoring, or getting to the free throw line. Based on the depth of our bench, I think that would favor us.

Another thing that I would like to see us do on defense more is to try and draw some charges. I am not looking for Davis and Foster to flop, but when Prince and Billups are backing down Tinsley, Miller, Jones, etc., then I think we need to do this. They are bumping and banging underneath. Why not use it to our advantage?

What a surprise - they have Samuel L. Jackson on at halftime to "talk basketball", and suddenly it becomes a Star Wars commercial...
