That might be PG's last shot as a Pacer. Tough pill to swallow.

Just fire Nate, trade Monta and CJ, get rid of big Al and Brooks, and IF, IF PG wants to leave, just trade him on draft day...if not, just try to bring a great big, and a 3&D SG....

I'm ok with it. $200 million for a first round exit? No thanks. They can get that a lot cheaper.

If PG leaves we will be an even more mediocre team than before. And you know the owners won't let us tank.

On a positive note Myles value kind of went up today so there is that.

That was easily the most draining season since I've been a fan. We need a new coach is my first thought now that it's over. Biggest off season ever coming up.

Disappointing end to a disappointing season.

On the bright side, at least it's over? LOL

Many thanks to owl for starting most of the postgame threads this season. And to atc as usual for all the game threads.

Well, this series actually reminded me of that Bulls series back in 10-11. We played tough on all games but failed to execute down the stretch. This is exactly what happened here. I think this team needs some real veteran playoff experience players, which we don't have and I don't know if we'll ever have with this core.

Coach needs out, we all know it. Not sure what's going to happen with PG now. Too bad, he's the most talented Pacer I've seen in my short lifetime.

We had decent shots throughout the series, we just didn't have good enough shooters.

Korver, Williams, Smith and Chandler off the bench not to mention Love and Irving in the starting lineup. LeBron has also become a pretty good 3 point shooter.

I mean our standard for firing coaches is losing a 7 games series to the 2 seed.

I dont care if it makes me a sore loser, that was a joke of officiating. Hell, even the announcers called out some of the BS.

Also, horrible draw up of the last play

Fitting the 16-17 Pacers will go down in franchise history with a dubious record (first Pacer team to get swept).

Just had to take the lead at the end so they could let us all down one last time :')

Happy that I stayed true to my word and gave Nate a full season of coaching to truly judge him.
I think we took the Cavs on extremely well, and were able to get some good contributions from more than just PG.
    However, fire that man.

Big props to Thad Young for keeping this game close by the way. Love this man's hustle even if he definitely is not a perfect player.

In fairness to the Pacers, the Cavs will probably lose two games max in the Eastern playoffs. None of these teams can touch them. It should have been obvious to anyone that the Cavs would easily be able to flip a switch on and storm through the weak Eastern Conference. The Cavs could beat this crappy conference in their sleep.

This was fairly predictable. Pacers played about as well as could bebexpected. I'm not too mad because Cleveland is just a superior team. I'm mad though that we had such an inexcusable garbage regular season which put us in the position to draw Cleveland in the first round. Competing in these games against Cleveland means we could have done some damage against any of the other teams.

McMillan might be a really bad tactician, but I do respect that he benched the hell out of (Too) Big Al, Brooks, and (at least today) Monta.

We played terrible defense in this series. The Cave are ridiculously tough to guard but we made it easy for them with our wacky switches.

The big difference with the Chicago series is that we were a young team back then with a young coach. So the upside was there even if we came up short. This team is full of vets (save Turner) and Nate is as veteran a coach as you'll find. We're not getting future growth from this group, it's basically tear down and start afresh next season IMO.

Only player we can trade & get back anything is PG. Trade him to Boston for Nets pick (Fultz or Ball), Jae Crowder, Jaylen Brown & Marcus Smart. Draft a SG @ 18 like Dwayne Bacon or Terrance Ferguson. Use cap space to offer Gordon Hayward a max contract. Try to get rid of Monta and/or Al Jefferson. Sign a rebounding big. Resign Teague.

    Jeff Teague / Marcus Smart
Markelle Fultz or Lonzo Ball / Jaylen Brown / Bacon or Ferguson
Gordon Hayward / Jae Crowder / GRIII
    Thad Young / Serpahin
    Myles Turner / FA C
