if Solo was still on the team and able to play 20 minutes per game in this series, if nothing else he would give us another guy who could defend Lebron, but even more importantly someone who can easily be used when we are switching on the 1-3 pick and rolls

    After playing 2 games. Wow.
He's that good that we get a +1 in the Win Column automarically.

Didn't the pacers already get that because of Lance? Solo would make them have another for a +2.

In other words, he'd be another guy for Lebron to run over.

Right, it's not like Solo would stop Lebron or even guard him better than GRIII even, and then he was terrible at everything this season.

Considering the reason we're down 0-2 instead of being 1-1 or 2-0 is our defense?

I think he would have had the opportunity to help a hell of a lot, with Glenn being on a minutes restriction, Lance still adjusting to our defensive schemes and getting lost at times (and having no realistic shot at checking Love in the post) and with Al Jefferson being essentially unplayable.

Yeah... He'd help quite a bit actually.

He doesn't need the ball in his hands. He just plays tough and hustles. We sure as hell could have used more of that this whole YEAR, never mind against just the Cavs.

No, Solo wouldn't be our savior. But I'd feel a heck of a lot better having him around to throw at LeBron or Love for a few minutes than having Joe Young or Rakeem sitting on the bench.

    *shrug*

I'd give Rak a shot at Love. Can't be worse than what we have tried

I sure he would have helped but I wouldn't be willing him to pay that contract that he currently has
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

I agree. I'm just saying that Solo (who at least had some playoff and slight vet experience) - is probably a safer and better option.

None of us would be... He would be here right now for like 10 dollars.

That's the point I am trying to make.

We would have had him on the cheap. Bird dropped his option after Solo asked to join the summer league to get in shape. Bird got tired of his work ethic and coming in every year out of shape. Oh wait, we now have a slightly bigger more expensive version

Not only do the Pacers get a +2 in the Win Column......we get a +1000 in Swagger, +200 in Dexterity, +1000 in the Team Chemistry and +10000 in the "Blow in your Opponents Ear" category.
