Lance Stephenson could never guard Love. He's just too small. That's just a desperation move.

I just don't understand why all the switching that gives the Cavs an easy advantage, you are better off going under the screen at this point.

This team all year long refuses to guard the 3pt line. They cheat off their man so much, bad habits-bad coaching.

Did anyone ask him about letting Love post up on Lance/CJ 4-5 straight possessions? Or not having another ballhandler help PG when he was getting absolutely swarmed? I know the Cavs completely outmatch the Pacers, but Nate has been horrible.
I LOVE PAUL. I LOVE HIM A LOT. BUT HE IS NOT A BALL HANDLER AND SHOULD NOT BE INITIATING THE OFFENSE SO MUCH

Move either Lance or GRIII to starting lineup. Put PG on Irving if he's hot, Lance/GRIII on Lebron in that situation.

BTW, if Lance had the ball more often, he'd probably have a few more assists and Paul George would have a few less turnovers. That's game. I don't get how we allow the wrong players on the floor and when we have the right ones they are not performing the role they do best. Very strange. I know Nate isn't JOb, but that's exactly how it was with JOb. Just worse because he was such jerk too.

PG wants the ball on his hands at all times and that is a big problem, the offense can't do **** like that.

Only real problem I have with PG initiating our offense is he doesn't deal with the double team that well. Too often he takes too long to pass the ball once the double is imminent. As soon as he sees it coming he's got to move the ball. If he gives it up early, he may get it back later in the possession. Along with that, the other guys have to make themselves available as well.

I've never seen a team do this before & we do it all the time.

We've got guys who literally run away from 3-point shooters. A shooter will catch the ball behind the line & we'll have guys who will kinda jab but then run away. It's amazing.

GR3 needs to start, he can actually switch on D with out getting immediately punished by Lebron or Irving.

But I thought the defense was supposed to be good again because Dan Burke's still here?

Paul is an awesome NBA player and has a game to die for. But he should not be the guy bringing the ball down so much. I'm not saying he cannot do some of that. But it just cannot be the norm. It should be quite rare where anyone other than Lance is bringing the ball down. Lance can make these guys better.

Unfortunately I missed a big chunk of the game. I noticed Lance had very little time on the floor and it was pretty far along in the second half. It's a shame they don't give him time to get it going. He should have gotten 35 minutes tonight but Nate is a fool.

Eh. AlJeff is just a huge, got-dam albatross. Stuckey and Ellis pale in comparison. AlJeff is basically unplayable. He might get a couple post buckets, but he can't run up and down the court more than twice without getting winded.

And that Ellis is the LaVoy Allen of the backcourt. Plays a bunch of minutes but contributes nothing on either end.

Yes, Lance, GRIII, Paul, Thad and Turner would be a nice, big lineup. We need a new coach really and it's time to stop blaming Nate. Not saying he's not an awful coach. But you cannot blame him for that.

Cleveland doesn't run as much AL can be much better than Turner vs Thompson and he can also abuse Thompson on offense.

Cavs doubling PG could also be harder as Al is an scorer.

You go under on Irving, he hits the shots.
Go under on James, he gathers enough steam already to flatten you and dunk on your friend at the rim lol

    Irving was hitting shots regardless.

I think Jefferson could help Indiana more by forcing their perimeter players to collapse to the post thus allowing more 3PT (on paper) opportunities. Plus, it slows the game down. I think the faster pace helps Cleveland more than us simply for the fact of them having more 3PT shooters.

However, we DEFINITELY have to start a bigger SG at the minimum.

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

Did Paul forget it was a TEAM sport? He wants to be a Lebron-type player so bad.

I didn't watch the game yet, but it's rather perplexing to hear that Love used him 3-4 possessions in a row.

Was Lance assigned to guard him, or did he ended up guarding him due to a switch?
