This is why I laugh at people who think the #1 seeding mattered in the East with LeBron still around.

Boston has to be the worst #1 seed of all time. Isiah Thomas and a bunch of role players. Indiana would have won by 20 tonight

    Thomas is a great player.

Like I said, this was the perfect match up for us. Bulls losing to the Nets was a blessing in disguise for them.

We could've had a great road to the ECF at least if we were #8 seed.

Could they fire Brad if they get eliminated by the Bulls?

Brad is starting Zeller because Rolo was killing them.

Also crazy they are paying Horford 30mil to be decent.

Celtics will have Horford making max for 4 more years lol

I can already see it, Horford, Hill, Milsap, Bazemore, Parson, Conley, trash contracts of the future.

And to think a Celtics fan was on me about wanting them in the first round. This has been ugly.

The Celtics look terrible. That said, if there's a team in these playoffs that might blow a 2-0 lead going home, it's definitely the 2016-17 Chicago Bulls.

    Embarrassing would be an understatement.

Horfords contract is moveable. Danny likes him too much to do it though. At this point maybe a sweep would be for the best. Put some heat on Ainge to actually field a team behind IT

You need stars to win in the playoffs. Celtics don't have any (and yes that includes IT).

lot of basketball left to play and a lot of circumstances surrounding the defeats. Don't give up hope yet

Nobody wants Horford at that price.

You're out of your mind if you think Isaiah isn't a star

Lol. And this is why I hoped for Pacers to get this match-up.

Boston would make Turner look like a monster. Literally Robin Lopez is going off that's how you know.

Also Thomas has a career 39% fg% in the playoffs

If he's your best player, you are a conference finalist at best.

And this is what matters. Some guys are cut out to perform in the playoffs. Others cannot handle it.

Though I don't disagree, you could say the same thing about Paul George right now.

Thomas needs help obviously. If he could team with other stars, even better. But that doesn't make him less of a star

He's an offensive star, but he's not enough of that to overcome his shortcomings on D. The dude needs Really good players around him at almost every position to actually win in the playoffs imo. Guys that can really D up, and help him on offense. He's not a very efficient player when teams focus on him in the playoffs either.
