Thompson and Love are not 100% that should help.

We have the 2nd and 3rd best players on the court, Lance and PG, so we should be fine.

    Cavs in 5 or 6 ... although I wouldn't be surprised to see a 7 game series.

However, I have been watching the NBA long enough to know that the Pacers won't beat the Cavs. A team with the player of Lebron's level never loses in the first round.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

This series really comes down to whether or not Monta will stick to korver. In game 3 this year Monta put pretty much no effort into guarding korver and the Pacers got blasted for it.

The other key match up is Turner vs Thompson. Turner has to bring his best.

Finally will the stripes let Thompson and love set illegal screens all day?

Cavs have struggled lately but it doesn't matter. They will flip on the switch and it will be difficult for anyone to beat them (even Warriors). I think anything more than a Cavs sweep is a moral victory for the Pacers.

Monta shouldn't even still be playing. I am baffled as to how hard the Pacers are sticking with him.

If Monta's D is abominable and we get crushed coming out of the gate, then Lance has to be considered. But the second unit won't function as well during times when Teague and Lance would both sit together. So there is risk involved there too.

I expect to see some Lantics, but not directed toward lebron. JR Smith and Irving will be lances targets.

I'm not expecting a series win, but I'll take whatever I can get. I still feel like the Pacers can be a sleeper team if things click. We all know Cleveland is coming out of the East, despite how terrible they've looked lately.

Looking forward to PG vs LeBron, and even some LeBron vs Lance.

Cleveland has been a train wreck for the second half of the season.
    LeBron is old.
Kylie and Love are walking M*A*S*H units.
Cleveland is tired from doing this last year.
Cleveland won't be as hungry as us.
PG has been All-World since the All Star break.

Seriously though, start Lance. Rebounding and 3 point defense are our weakness. We need to make this a grind it out lower scoring series. Lance can help on the boards.

I really hope they don't hedge too hard on Cleveland's ball handlers. That's just asking for a three point barrage. Also hope they don't switch bigs onto the perimeter therefore drawing them away from the basket to rebound. I'm probably in the minority but I don't think this is as bad a match up as it seems. I also wonder if we'll see Thad on LeBron for some stretches. I never really noticed until these past 5 games but when he's locked in, he's a really good on ball defender. I really think Myles will out play Thompson this series too. When someone gets rough with him, he seems to turn into one BAMF and Thompson's going to go hard at him all series, believe that.

Paul George is on fire, and we all know he gets even better in the playoffs. Throw in Lance and the energy and confidence he has given the rest of the Pacers, and Cleveland is in serious trouble. Pacers in 6.

Our bench has been atrocious during the entire Paul George era. With Lance being a reserve, and running the second unit, our bench is awesome. No need to tinker with the effective bench
