Well the Pacers finally made it on the last game of the year and not in a way anyone thought likely at the beginning of the year

    A little early, no?

And eat **** Heat fans! No playoffs and they'll probably lose both Waiters and James Johnson.

I have to admit if you asked me last month if the Pacers were going to make the playoffs I would've said no.

I'll enjoy it for what it is they made the playoffs.

Anything beyond that is miraculous at this point.

Glad we got in. Our momentum is really good right now. Let's attempt to make of it the best we can

Root for a Portland win guys, they can tie Pacers and Bucks for same record and with some coin luck the Pacers can get the 16th pick...right now its 17 or 18.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I mean if PG played like this all season he would be the best player in the league. I don't think that's an incredibly realistic goal for him.

It would be like if Paul George played like 'Playoff Paul' all season. However, I'm not sure that level of play and intensity is sustainable for an entire 82 game season.

I think it is..... ask Westbrook and Harden.

PG finishing the season at over 46% from the field. A nice, much needed improvement.

They take 1/2 of the game off every game though (on the defensive end)

PG for MVP. What an awesome game from him....he was really tired.

Monta, on the other hand, against the worst defender in the NBA (Calderon): 0/0/1.

I thought we really locked down and played great defense (especially perimeter) in the final four minutes.

Gotta give some credit to Mcmillan. He's incorporated Lance brilliantly the last couple weeks eventually handing over full time ball handling duties. Give him credit for finally going small and benching Al Jeff for Seraphin too. He's redeemed himself in my opinion.

Wait... Are you telling me if PG averaged 30/7/4 for the whole season we would be better? No way!

The Pacers have only missed the playoffs in one post-JOB season. A person could argue that we only missed the playoffs in that lone post-JOB season because of a broken leg and a turned down extension.

Nate has made the playoffs 100% of the time as a head coach for the Indiana Pacers.

Frank has missed the playoffs 100% of the time as a head coach for Not Indiana Pacers.

    Thank you Larry

And along with that he allowed Brooks to go to his more natural position as a spot up shooter and pesky on ball defender.

Despite all the up and down play this season, the offense has looked better to me than any time under Vogel. I think Teague has been a factor. I will also note that an offense based on running Paul George off of screens has been something people have talked about for a long time, but we really haven't seen it implemented consistently until recently. Nate deserves some credit here.

Have to agree that having had a small hand in bumping the Heat
out of the playoff picture is a somewhat satisfying victory unto
    itself.

Am glad to see the Pacers got in. A few weeks ago I was thinking
that they have no business being in the playoffs, but WOW, what
a dramatic turnaround! This will be interesting seeing how much
of a fight they can take to the defending champs.
