Once again the Pacers are physically dominated. If you want to beat the Pacers just be aggressive on the perimeter.
They will fold. Carmelo is still a good player and can be counted on at the end of games.

I gave up on liking this group of players a long while ago, but I sincerely hope this group doesn't make the playoffs.

That's the only way to justify a major shake up to this roster.

As much as I love playoffs Paul George, I also hope we miss the playoffs. But then again, what's the use of a higher draft pick if you have an incompetent front office and coaching staff?

We don't need to shake things up, we've got Paul George, that is all that matter.

Defense was good enough to win, 87 is good enough...offense in 2nd half was complete garbage. The lack of offense I think made the Pacers get lazier on D.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

We missed about 15 shots around the rim in the second half

If I didn't know better, I'd be convinced that Paul was trying to throw the game. I saw at least five inexplicable defensive switches and a pass directly to the Knicks, all in the final minutes of the 4th. The defensive switches are so out of character for Paul.

That was a horrible game that exposed everything wrong with the Pacers. No offensive movement, no chemistry between Paul/Jeff, terrible energy, poor rebounding, terrible bench play and poor deense.

I strongly dislike this team. And what's worse is it feels like years before it starts to get better, barring an unforseen free agent signing and coach firing.

He's making tears drop at an unprecedented rate in my home.

The most irritated I've seen Nate all year.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

His tear drop is pretty good when he's trying to make the shot. He's been shooting it at odd angles while trying to draw fouls.

He could really stand to improve his mid range consistency though IMO. Especially as he ages

That was an easy game to call. As I said this morning, Vegas had that game backwards. Pacers should have been +4 not -4...imagine all the $$ that would have been put on Indy & would have lost.

I'll admit, hardly watched this game. I've never lost more interest in a Pacers team after the All-Star break than this years team. Don't care at all. Draft pick would be best for this team. Only way we get anyone good to come here anyway, might as we'll get the best pick possible.

2 games out of pick 13 right now. Tomorrow is a big one. Go Hornets. Trade PG for top 3 & we'd have our own lottery pick. Good start to a quick rebuild.

That was just so utterly uninspiring in the second half I don't even know what to say.

I'm not ever going to advocate tanking or hoping we miss the playoffs, etc.

But this game just left me totally numb to the realities of the situation.

Yeah I "hope" it all turns around and so forth. Obviously. But wow...

The Pacers center is so afraid to get blocked he rather pass it to whoever is kind of open even if he is under the rim

13 TOs between PG and Teague. Can't have that from your two "best" players.

So exhausted with this team's roller coaster effort. Rough shooting night, but the TOs, no rebounding, and seeming lack of interest during the second half is so typical. You can shoot poorly against the Knicks and still overcome them with desire, focus, and intensity. But you just can't count on that consistently. I don't want to re-sign Teague and I won't miss PG if he goes. He's good, but he's not worth what we'll be on the hook for. Whether he doesn't have it in him or it's just cirucmstance with us, he's not going to be the franchise player who returns us to or surpasses the glory of the 90s teams.

Probably something like "Ugh, better help Teague yet again here or this is a free layup."

My issue with this is, Melo's unconscious at this point and you're giving him an open jumper. Give Rose the layup and trust that someone will at least try to contest it at the rim.

We'd just end up with the 12th to 14th pick if we miss the Playoffs.
