Pacers just not good enough defensively and were pushed around. Pacers have to get tougher more physical players if they ever want to compete.
    On to the next game.

They also need to find some 3 point shooters. We were 4-12 and they were 13-31.

Missed the game, but PG only 19 minutes? Did he get injured?
Yay, we don't know what we're doing as a franchise! thanks PG!

He got ejected. Picked up his second technical early in the 3rd quarter.

The inside game is weak and so teams really defend the Pacers on the perimeter. Plus the Pacers pass up a lot of open shots at 3 point line. Not nearly as aggressive at some teams at hoisting them up.

The double technical was bogus. We will never hear about it, but the ref who called the double tech will hear from the league.

Heat are really good right now. 16-2 is no joke. Only two games they have lost? To Magic and Sixers

and in case you are wondering who they have beaten. Warriors, Rockets twice, Hawks twice.

Need better 3 point shooters in today's NBA. Stuckey and Ellis make nice plays every so often but they don't spread the floor at all which makes things harder for the rest of the team. CJ is a decent shooter but not a good defender and Teague had a terrible time making layups tonight.

Better be drafting a 3+D guy, maybe a PF to put next to Myles.

Also, prepare for the Pacers to fall under .500 in next 2 games...not to go to Vegas crazy but whatever the spread is for Rockets/Pacers, I'd be giving Houston the points...think they'll have revenge on their minds and James Harden will go nuclear.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I think the 2nd tech on Paul is easy to explain, that dumb *** official didn't realize that Paul already had one, the first tech was bullshiit by the way !!

I don't think so. Spoelstra is a great coach who figures out a scheme that works best with his roster. I mean, they're starting Magruder and frickin Babbitt and they're 16-2.

In other words, they did what you're supposed to do with a great coach.....they kept him.

Yes, we had a great coach once. Even then, alot of people in this forum dont like him and him him too rigid. From his call playing to his substitution.

I am referring to rick carlisle.

Saying they'll make the playoffs would be a riskier call.

And this is what Larry knew...and that's why he held on to the 1st rounder. Aka a lottery pick. You don't deal a lottery pick for Taj Gibson only to rent him for 2 months or "help" PG. you need that 1st for the future for when you deal Paul in June & rebuild.

A few here are still convinced we are competing for a Championship.

first tech was iffy, but a double..... even if the ref was Helen Keller.... so Supercoolawesomelaidbackguystuckindarkness or whatever knew he had one, so don't be a dick and catch a second?

More great PG leadership. Get a phantom tech that sucks. Compound it by turning right around and getting the second in the same quarter. At this point, it would be better to miss the playoffs. Bird and Simon need a real wake up call about how pitiful this coach and roster is.
I'd rather die standing up than live on my knees.
