My prediction, this is mostly posturing. Boston ends up bending and gets Butler. They're using the Pacers rumors as leverage.
I think they would be fine with either PG or Butler. Whichever one they can get a better deal for probably.

Crowder is probably the killer here, whoever is OK without him takes the deal.

Apparently Crowder and Butler don't get along. I think he'd have to be included in a deal for Butler, but Boston would hang on to Brown.

You float the BKN pick to Indy for PG, CHI blinks and you include Crowder for them, but get to keep the BKN pick. I think that's Ainge's play.

Don't know why the Celtics are trying to trade for Butler and George. They're still not going anywhere. Mine as well tank and get more draft picks

I'm sure that relationships change when you're on the same team. They'll become buddies if they become Teammates.

Boston's pretty overrated not gonna lie.

Cleveland has an easy road as always in the East.

Aren't the top 3 picks of next draft really good?

Real question. Was the Lakers ever a factor in this discussion? I honestly believe Bird wouldn't do that to PG unless he absolutely demanded it.

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

Today is my wife's birthday and God love her she is trying to pretend like she's interested in the trade deadline just to start conversation on our way home from indy. She just told me we should trade Paul because sometimes he misses free throws. Funniest **** I've heard in a long time

(I politely informed her that is the one category in the league that he is #1)

I want Crowder and Bradley for sure, they're are plus defenders (and instantly be the best defenders on the Pacers). Also like Marcus Smart who is like a power forward at the 2 guard spot......I'm starting to realize why Boston is winning and the Pacers are not. They have a bunch of players who play defense and play hard at that end of the floor. Hell I even like Amir Johnson okay.

They played together at Marquette, and apparently didn't like each other.

According to WOJ the Boston/Pacers talks have advanced some and the Nets pick is now in play...

That's why I think there is a chance Pacers get better if they get at least 2 of those guys for PG. (plus the picks of course).

Get out of here with Bradley/Crowder.

They are like 5th/6th best players on a championship team.

We need players with potential to be stars.

Like a Randle and a Ingram.

The only thing that intrigues me is the Nets pick which could end up becoming a star player for us.

Why trade PG for role players?

So if the Celtics offer up that pick in the next 3 hours, is PG gone?
Bird really doesn't want to trade PG, and PG doesn't really want to leave the Pacers, so the ball is really in Danny's hands to make Bird think otherwise.
    Why so SERIOUS

I'd require 2017 Nets pick and Brown. Brown has a lot of potential, and is similar to George in how he has started. If he gets playing time (which he would here) he'd have a chance to blossom IMO.

So, you're suggesting that they keep the picks to get better when we could use those very same picks to do the same thing while getting younger?

Well.. If you have 4 guys that could be in your 6 best players for a championship team (Teague and Turner as well), and have a shot at a superstar in the draft (IFFY), that's a solid start. Though I'd be more interested in Brown than one of Crowder or Bradley. I want to be competitive now, but if we are going more rebuild, I'd say do it correctly.
