Its up there. I would also suggest the Pau trade from Memphis to the Lakers as one too.

I never understood this sure them getting Kwame Brown wasn't great and Javaris Crittenton but they got his brother Marc as well as draft picks. One of those draft picks was traded for Darrell Arthur.

    Both teams benefitted here.

If there's a way to beat GS in the playoffs, it's by being a completely different team that they can't deal with. Not think I think NOLA can do it, but I'm super intrigued to see what happens now.

Ok...so what exactly did Boogie do in New Orleans this weekend that is going to leak in the next 24 hours? Cause there is no other way to explain this.

You can make a sincere case that GLENN ROBINSON THE THIRD is a better prospect than Buddy Hield at this point.

Memphis got Mark Gasol back in that deal
That may be.. but at the time of the trade nobody expected Marc to be the player he is today. It would be like if Buddy Hield became the next Kobe Bryant 5 years from now.
PACER FAN ON STRIKE!!!-The moment the Pacers fire Larry Bird I will cheer for them again.

Speaking of Kobe I think trading Vlade Divac for Kobe Bryant is probably one of the worst trades in NBA history and at the time many thought that for an entirely different reason.

In his first year in Memphis (his rookie year in the NBA), Marc averaged 12 PPG, 7 RPG, 2 APG, 1 SPG, and 1BPG on 53% shooting from the field in 30 MPG.

I don't think they played with each other at KY..missed each other by a season.

Man, is there a more talented frontcourt in the league?

I thought so because of this

Nope, I caught you. Tell me more about NFL trades .

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

Another trade that I think is up there is the Stephen Jackson/Al Harrington/ Sarunas trade to Golden State for Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, & Ike Diogu. Still hurts a little inside when I think about it.

Talent wise this is the worst trade in history. Cousins is a head case but I thought for sure if they traded him that the Kings would get multiple 1st and a good young player for him. It may be that GM's were just too gun shy to take on that attitude but I have to think it's more bad management on the Kings part than anything else to get fleeced like this. I'm still glad he's not a Pacer but I hate the current style of play in the league. Part of me wants to see a team succeed with a great front court that forces teams to match up with them and play big and this should be the best front court in the league.
Larry Bird qouted March 25th. 2015:

Bird: I wanted to keep our group together because in the summer, if David and Roy opt out, we're back to zero, really. We don't have that much, so you leave your options open. If we did make a trade, I didn't want to take on a lot of contracts -- because that's what usually happens. Plus, I liked my guys. They're playing well. If we keep the core together and Paul comes back healthy, we'll be right back to where we were.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the NBA wants to make the Pelicans happen and they had a role in this BTS. Maybe I'm giving the Kings too much credit but I figure they would want to trade him out of conference.

At least he didn't go to the Cavs or Warriors.

So it was what every team that makes a trade wants: a win/win.

When he couldn't win a playoff game in Memphis. His Brother did a lot more there than Pau did. It worked out for both teams I hope the Grizzlies win a title one day(if the Pacers can't) but the Lakers wanted to win now with Kobe and the Grizzlies wanted a future.

Yeah which is how trades work. I'm just saying comparing Gasol to Buddy Hield is not the same.

I can't think of a worse team to be a fan of right now. Could you imagine trading PG for that package? I'd puke.

On the flip side, anything is possible with good timing and the right conversation.

Talent wise it was terrible but the infamous brawl happened and well we were lucky to get anything for Stephen Jackson. Losing Al Harrington was bad though.
