Well looks like Romo is going to possibly be traded the Texans have now

Should've stayed in Denver and taken over after Manning retired Brock.

That Osweiler trade is like an NBA move. Don't see add a sweetener to take a bad contact moves too often in the NFL

Man, the whole Texans/Osweiler situation is some crazy ****. That just doesn't happen. Especially in the NFL. And now the Browns are thinking about just cutting him. If you can't be a serviceable QB under Bill O'Brien, who has turned some of the most garbage QBs in the league into guys who can just not **** things up too badly, you are pretty awful. And now the Browns, the BROWNS, who have been desperate for a QB for my entire life, are thinking about cutting him and eating all that money without him ever even putting on a jersey.

Might be time to go do something else Brock...

Cleveland's parting ways with RGIII. Gotta think it's over for him at this point.

I hope Romo ends up in Denver. If he stays healthy, I think they could take out NE.

Tony Cornheiser just became my hero. I dont have the video yet, but i'll try to post it. If you watched, he went in about the Redskins and this Scott Mcloughan situation. So proud of him honestly. I've never been a fan until now.

It's still a travesty that he won ROTY over Luck.

Why? He had a great rookie year won the division and took his team to the playoffs nothing Luck did that season was that much better than RG3. Long term Luck had a higher ceiling but for that season I don't see the issue with RG3 winning ROTY.

Saints got Brandin Cook for a 1st rounder.

    I think he's overrated.

A first and a 3rd. Wow. Huge overpayment. He's not that good.

Eh its the Pats he'll appear all world there.

Its like the league is colluding to have the Pats stacked this offseason(like Cavs/LeBron)

The Panthers traded Kony Ealy to them too.

    I can't with the Redskins.

I will come back and cheer for them when Dan Snyder sells the team. If the team is even still around.

Manning's 55 touchdowns are in jeopardy next year.

I think it's steep for Cooks, but they're clearly going all in on getting number 6.

That record doesn't really matter at this point.

Or they're trading draft picks so the NFL can't take away anymore from the Pats in case another scandal erupts with this team

Majority of Cooks 2016 stats came in 3 games. Look it up.

It's still an impressive record to own.

He had 1100 yards and 8 touchdowns. 502 yard and 5 touchdowns came in just 3 games.

I'm not really worried about him at all.

So probably like 1400 yards and 12 touchdowns as a Patriot.

How do you come to this conclusion though? He's coming from a offense that threw for an average over 5k yards a season and he never came close to the numbers you're expecting from him next season.

That yardage total was still 7th in the NFL. Cooks isn't quite that good, but he's easily one of the best 20 receivers in the league. And he's the type of player that doesn't need to produce every week to be helpful to his team. He's an incredible decoy just running deep. Teams have to honor that speed. They scored 49 points one week and didn't even target him once despite him playing the whole game.

I don't know if he'll end up being a luxury because Brady isn't quite as good at the deep ball as he used to be, or if he'll leave a devastating amount of space for all the Patriots underneath weapons.

Decoy.. i'll give you that. I'm not saying he's bad. But I am saying that he's not worth a 1st and a 3rd. So i'm happy the Pats paid that. He's good, he just isnt consistent so we'll see.

In the grand scheme of things not really.

Its only memorable to fans of said player and doesn't hold much merit when it gets broken every few seasons.

The only regular season records that have ever "mattered" were Wilt's 100(still unbroken) and Hank Aaron's 755 HRs (which has controversy involved when Bonds broke it) and while impressive feats are only still being talked about because they haven't been broken(well Wilt's at least)

If they aren't dumping him now they won't they will stick with him until he retires he's their draw since they aren't going to be competing for a Lombardi anytime soon.

The single season TD record has been held by passing legends like Marino, Manning (big deal in 04 when it happened), Brady (they beat the **** out of everyone that regular season), and then Manning again (with an arm that was like 50% of what it was in 2004). It's been a big deal every time it's broken. Anyone who remotely follows the NFL knows that Manning has the record. I'm not saying it's as important as his 5 MVP's or 2 rings or career TD's, but it's still one of the best statistical records to own in the sport.

It's only been broken multiple times recently because Manning and Brady are so good. It won't be easy for anyone else to top their marks.
