All I know about Frank Kush is that he's the reason why Elway never wanted to play for the Colts but I thought his dad was the one that got rid of him.
I heard it was because the Colts were nowhere near contention of winning, and he either wanted to play for a contender, or at least was near being a contender, or else he was going to play baseball for a contender.

    I could be wrong; but, that's what I've heard/read.

I think you'll find just as many on the other side of the fence. If not more.
I'm referring to people in the Colts organization not so much the fans. Unless there's something I'm not aware of. I think people didn't think Caldwell is much of a coach(including me) but never really thought he was a jerk or anything.

There's a 30 for 30 on this Elway to Marino that covered it seemed he just hated Frank Kush above all. I mean really was Denver a contender when Elway got there? Not really (yeah they went to 1 SB with Craig Morton but not much else and that was in the 70s)

Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

So part of Luck's signing bonus was deferred to today I guess, he made 14 million dollars this morning. Imagine waking up and seeing that when you check your balance. You think these guys ever actually check their balances?

I am sure they do for the simple fact that they will invest it pretty quickly and not just let it lose value in a bank for funnzies.

I'm at the point where i'm just going to see what Ballard can do. I'm not gonna **** on Pags anymore. It's new season and lets roll. If we start slow, i'll be ******** though.
I hope Pags gets shown the door. Even with a subpar roster his game management was awful. His defensive coordinator was also bad so I have no real faith that he can turn anything around talent or not talent the ship is rudderless.

Also his pressers are worse than reused toilet paper.

    Tier 3: Rising stars
2016: Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, Andrew Luck, Derek Carr
2017: Mariota, Winston, Luck, Dak Prescott, Carson Wentz, Jimmy Garoppolo
This has to be one of the most idiotic things I've ever read. Luck being in the same category as Wentz, Mariota, and GAROPPOLO is absurd.

Well the smart ones do, many do not.

Again this video doesn't give an example of people on the Colts thinking he's a jerk. A bad coach? Of course.

Romo's retiring from football and going into broadcasting. Probably the right move.

Indirectly, that is great news for the Colts. He probably would have gone to either Denver or Houston, and Houston would have been big AFC South favorites with Romo. But Tom Savage?

Supposedly he has a standing offer from the Giants. So you have to assume the Colts were willing to meet or beat it if he came here. But he seems to have left without signing with us. Not sure what that means.

I remember back in the Grigson FA era when the Colts would always sign the free agents they had visit.

^^ I think it's pretty clear that Ballard has a completely different view of what these guys are worth than Grigson did.

And that's really a good thing.

And pay way too much to do it.

Colts signed Johnathan Hankins to a 3 year 30 million dollar deal.

Looks like ~$10mil guaranteed this year and ~$5mil guaranteed next year, so the $30mil is not as scary. I'm pretty excited to have a legit NT, basically coming into the prime of his career. If he plays up to what he's shown and what he's capable of, that contract will be well worth it.
It's a new day for Pacers Basketball.

Yeah - this guy is an animal. Nice job by Ballard.

Really liking what Ballard is doing so far. These signings have allowed us to be more aggressive finding talent in the draft. Can't wait to see this team play
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

With Hankins now joining the seismic defensive rebuilding the Colts have undergone, the interior of the defensive line could very well have a new starter in the middle of their defense.

David Parry is the two-year returning starter at nose tackle. The Colts also brought in seven-year veteran Al Woods (18 career starts) this offseason.
The PR spin is just terrible. Who writes for Colts.com and can they just pay someone from PD to do this?

Yeah - I was kind of thinking that this was going to be one of those dreaded 'rebuilding' years, but if these guys work out fairly well, it's going to be an interesting season.

And Ballard seems to have a good track record in his drafting - so maybe the best is yet to happen.

IN my opinion if Al Woods, Hankins, a healthy Henry Anderson and Langford do not fix the run defense then Chuck should be fired asap. The front 7 has been totally revamped with run stoppers and if Chuck is able to do anything on defense then it should be stopping the run first and foremost.

Noticed how Robert Mathis was at the Colts local pro day and how he's supposed to announce the second round draft pick in two weeks. Wonder if he has (or will have) a role with the Colts.
