This makes me think Paul George isn't as tall as I thought.

We could always be in field goal range.
*edit* He had a tryout with the Patriots last week. Says around 8 teams have expressed an interest.

Westgate in Vegas released their season win total over/unders today. Colts at 8.5. AFC South is basically a crapshoot. Both us and the Titans are at 8.5, the Texans at 8, and the Jags at 6.5.

    That is ugly.

Indy has the easiest schedule in the NFL and a top-10 QB (if he's gonna be healthy), but I have a hard time believing we'll get 10 wins. #ThanksGrigson

Colts signed 5 tryout players. Cut two vets to make room (Austin Blythe and Frankie Williams). With Blythe gone I wonder who the candidates are for emergency (3rd string) center.

The Colts signed free agent OG-Blake Muir and four undrafted free agents: CB-Dantť Blackmon, S-Tyson Graham, WR-Al-Damion Riles and OT-Andrew Wylie.

To make room for the new Colts, the team parted ways with C/G-Austin Blythe (2016 seventh-round pick) and CB-Frankie Williams (Purdue). The Colts also waived three 2017 undrafted free agents: WR-Jerome Lane, CB-Chris Lyles and G-Chris Muller.

Texans add Jimmy Raye III to front office

One of the post-draft changes to the Colts front office was the departure of their vice president of football operations Jimmy Raye III, but Raye didnít have to wait long to find another job.

He didnít have to leave the AFC South either. The Texans announced that Raye has been hired as vice president of player personnel/assistant general manager. Raye spent 17 years with the Chargers, working his way up to director of player personnel before moving on to the Colts.

The Texans parted ways with director of player personnel Brian Gaine earlier this month when, after granting him permission to interview, he was hired as the V.P. of player personnel with the Bills.

The Texans also announced a series of promotions. Rob Kisiel is now the director of pro personnel, Mike Martin is the assistant director of college scouting, Frantzy Jourdain is a national scout and Brad Matthews will serve as an area scout.

Interesting. Bill O'Brien hates Rick Smith so I wonder if Jimmy Raye is his potential replacement if $h!t hits the fan.

TJ Green starting in place of Clayton Geathers. Let's hope he improved in every category this offseason.

Not sure if any of you listened to Pat McAfee on the Dakich radio show earlier, but he said Bruce Arians wanted to stay with the Colts to be with Pagano and coach Andrew Luck. Grigson questioned his loyalty and decided that he should go off and become a head coach because he was going to replace him.

By "loyalty" I think he probably meant Grigson questioned Arians' willingness to toe the company line and not publicly blast Grigson at the first opportunity. Chuck has always been a company line guy, but Arians would've said exactly what he thought whenever he thought it.

This legitimately makes me angry. We would've been much better if we had kept Arians, on staff or as head coach. How is it even conceivably that his loyalty could've been questioned? He had a tremendous season filling in for Chuck, and the whole time, wouldn't stop talking about Chuck. Grigson was such an idiot.

I don't believe for a second that Arians would have turned down the offer to be a head coach in order to stay on as the OC here, Grigson or no Grigson.

If Arians turned down the job to be the Colts HC it would be because of Pagano and he wouldn't do that to him but that would be the only reason IMO.

Yeh, that doesn't really surprise me at all. Leaf thought he was too cool for school and didn't need to meet with anyone. He figured his sheer athleticism would take him to glory and well, we all know that turned out.
He typified the overgrown spoiled brat who always got his way. I remember a reporter asked him about his poor play in the locker room after a game and leaf just totally lost his #%$!
    Dude could not handle pressure.

I'm not sure why everyone gets upset with Irsay. This is how he is; he's enthusiastic and passionate about winning. Sure he needs to spend less time on Twitter, but I don't really mind. It's much better than Simon, whose apathy prevents me from ever believing the Pacers will compete for a title.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I'd thank this multiple times if it would let me.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
