Just browsing twitter, it seems like most people agree that today feels like a huge hill to climb for the Pacers to even have a chance to win. But, i'm not so sure that is accurate. Since January 10th, the Rockets are 4-5. Tonights game is also their last game of a 9 day road trip.

Pat Boylan also said on twitter, outside of the 20-2 run they were on between Dec1-Jan10, the Rockets are 15-13.

The Rockets are a streaky team. As long as the Pacers don't play like they did in London, they should have a chance to win this.
    Impossible is nothing.

I actually think we match up pretty well with them as long as we put PG on Harden. Cj can guard Ariza and Thad can stick on Anderson.

Yeah I like our chances as long as PG sticks Harden.

We let the Kings shoot 50% from 3 on Friday, have to do a much better job taking away the outside shot today because Houston loves shooting it.

Harden has taken his game up another level. I'm not sure PG can handle him now.

He's getting amazing numbers, nearly a triple double average with 29ppg, 11.6 assists and 8.2 boards.

Paul is only at 22.7ppg, 3.3 paltry assists and 5.9 measly boards.

Still hard to believe that OKC had Harden, Durant, and Westbrook on the same team. Imagine that scenario now. haha! I know......on paper right? There is only one basketball to go around

Yes, Harden and Westbrook on the same team isn't going to work. They are both ball dominant and neither are catch and shoot types. Both are very high usage. They should have been able to trade some of that for some great assets but anymore stars just form teams as they see fit. So some teams end up getting nothing of any value in return.

PG will turn his defense up tonight, he will be motivated to shut Harden down and if my memory serves me right, he has done a good job in the past

I'm interested to see how long CJ can continue to play effectively in the starting lineup.

Historically he either hits a slump or gets injured...or both. Hopefully he can keep it going and we will have found our starting lineup for the rest of the season.

Numbers lie. Harden is having a nice season though

It's gonna take 125 to win this game. Let's see if we can keep up. Nice start so far.

This team has undeniably played a lot harder since getting boo'ed against the Knicks lol

It might wear down PG, but I'd like to see him guarding the main ball handler more often. Pippen lite..

Maybe booing did help after all? They certainly do seem more engaged.

Before he does something stupid, props to Lavoy Allen out there. He's picked it up lately. Even made two baskets, one courtesy of a Capela goaltend.

IMO he doesn't deserve any serious mvp consideration because of this. He's in the discussion but no way would he get my vote.
Larry Bird qouted March 25th. 2015:

Bird: I wanted to keep our group together because in the summer, if David and Roy opt out, we're back to zero, really. We don't have that much, so you leave your options open. If we did make a trade, I didn't want to take on a lot of contracts -- because that's what usually happens. Plus, I liked my guys. They're playing well. If we keep the core together and Paul comes back healthy, we'll be right back to where we were.
