Don't care Pacers need to keep Teague as long as possible, point guards like him are not easy to get.
Ehh, disagree. He's good but let's not act like this is a top tier point guard.

... What call are you questioning? Not that I was ever on board that they are out to get us.. That's silly imo.
The foul on Porzingis or the foul on Melo. Both were tough calls in the 4th.

and he will cost dearly next season... if we drop to lottery, it's better to go rookie-way at point & save 20 mil for other needs...
If that's the way the FO is thinking then Paul will surely leave. OKC, Cleveland, all small market teams not worried about spending money for the right players.

He is similar to Conley who is making 30, players like that are very hard to get (It took Pacers almost 20 years to get one).

You keep Teague for life PERIOD

A (presumably) NBA fan that looks at Teague as harder to replace than PG? lmao

It makes ZERO sense to keep Teague if you are trading PG and going to the youth movement. You want to pay a guy $20 million/year on a losing team while you are trying to develop young guys? Not to mention, again, this draft is LOADED with point guards. I like Teague, but again, if that's the route you are going to take it doesn't make sense.

Teague is distinctly average point guard though... Maybe 7th- or 8th-best in Eastern Conference.

It didn't say he was, Conley is 30 and Teague 28 big difference.

Melo hugged PG on multiple occasions within the same play, and hit him in the head with his arm.
Porzingis foul seemed like a typical tripping foul to me.

Yeah, it was a bit low but Turner should have handled it and he knew it. FWIW, it was CJ who made the pass.

We already have a young point guard and his name is Young.

I'm saying keep Teague if you are keeping PG. That's pretty simple. If you are on the, "Trade PG, build around Myles" wagon, then keeping Teague doesn't make sense. Turner and young dudes you get in a PG bounty aren't going to be ready to compete for 2-3 years, then Teague is 30+, a lot of his game is based on quickness, and you're paying him $20 million. Doesn't add up.

I'm ok with that, Turner needs somebody to pass him the ball and Teague is fine even for a rebuilding team.

Edit: either way my proposal is to trade PG FOR somebody ready I don't want picks or unproven players.
