    Deshone Kizer to the Browns

    RIP Deshone Kizer's career.

He probably should've stayed another year at Notre Dame than play for the Browns.

Browns need a total rebrand. Their franchise is a joke. Literally... they are the laughing stock of all of sports

I'm going to miss the days when our db's were simply beat by taller receivers.

You mean the last 5...10...15...however many years?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

NFL Network seems very high on Basham. Got ourselves a pass rusher

Well can't hate the pick, especially at 11.5 sacks last season....

McShay just said he thought Basham would be long gone by now.

Wow, defense, defense, defense. This feels so foreign. It seems like we've addressed a number of holes on defense this off-season. Hankins at tackle; Sheard and Simon at LB with Mingo, Spence, and Bostic to back them up; then we grab Hooker at safety, Wilson at CB, and Basham at DE. That's pluggin a helluva lot of holes. I'd like to get maybe 1 more pass rusher, but I wouldn't mind looking at o-line or RB now, either.

There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

We've addressed so many gaps on defense that we can start drafting for depth and competition. F*** you Grigson, this should have been done a long time ago. Ballard has drafted properly because he spent time with Pagano to figure out what he needed, and he doesn't seem to have an ego about it. Between our FA acquisitions and our new draft picks, I'm excited for the first time in a long time to see how our defense plays.

I really like this Quincy Wilson selection. Got good height and size. 6'2". No more shorties.

And he has a sense of humor:

Our secondary was a weakness coming into the draft... Now with Wilson/Davis at the corners, and Hooker/Geathers in the secondary i'm not sure that's the case at all. It could even be a strength.

Watching the draft on NFLN wow the coverage is way better I should've started this years ago.

Second I thought Drew Pearson stole the draft tonight...

Looks like Robert Mathis will be on the coaching staff (probably as an assistant LB coach or something).

Bashem said he can't wait to be taught from Mathis and called him a legend.

Relying on you guys/gals expertise.... So are there any Gawdamit Donald backs worth picking in the later rounds. Love Gore but Mr. Longtooth make not make it the entire season.

I'm no draft guru, but Perine would make some sense with one of the fourth rounders...

Lack of speed and questionable tackling will be bad at times though.

I don't know if speed will be a very big weakness, Wilson lacks top end speed (Not slow by any means though, ran a 4.5 40 at the combine) but he seems to make up for that with his physicality at the LOS from what I've seen. I'll grant you tackling will be bad at times, Geathers will probably be filling the SS role allowing Hooker to play as a deep center fielder.
