Lightbulb Pacers + Nets + Lakers

Pacers trade CJ Miles, Rodney Stuckey, Al Jefferson, Aaron Brooks, Lavoy Allen, 2017 1st round pick
    Nets trade Brook Lopez
Lakers trade Nick Young and Lou Williams

Pacers acquire Brook Lopez, Nick Young, Lou Williams
Nets acquire Pacers 2017 1st round pick, Al Jefferson, CJ Miles and Rodney Stuckey
Lakers acquire Aaron Brooks and Lavoy Allen

Indy gets bigger in the front court and now rebounding won't be as much of an issue. Lopez is not a super fast guy but Myles quickness would offset that in transition defense. Both bigs can space the floor on offense though. GR3 would start at shooting guard giving us a bench of...

    Christmas or Seraphin

For the Nets they get into the draft 2 years earlier than expected. Also they would owe Lopez $40 mil plus over the next two years. With the pieces we send back, CJ has an ETO for next Summer which any team who holds his contract can activate. $6 mil gone. Stuckey exercises his option that's $7 mil gone. Al Jeff is only owed $10 mil next season before his third season where he is owed just $5 mil. Basically the Nets at worst would owe these players only $17 mil for 1 season.

For the Lakers it's a salary dump. With the cap jump being smaller next Summer and their current situation the Lakers at most next Summer would have $18 mil in cap space. Not nearly enough to attract a marquee free agent. Dumping Lou and Nick for Lavoy and Brooks (both expiring's) opens up an extra $13.5 mil in cap for the Lakers. Now they're armed with more than enough to go after Hayward or anyone else in the top tier.
