    Default Pacers/Sacramento

Pacers send Aaron Brooks to the Kings for Omni Casspi.

The trick to this trade is why the Kings would want Brooks. Possibly to move him to another team or maybe just to get rid of a disgruntled player.

What this does for the Pacers is it gives us a backup PF that can hit the 3. Casspi was the backup PF in Houston a couple of years ago and average 18 mpg on a 54-28 team. This will move Monta to the backup PG and frees up time for GRIII, Stuckey or Miles to get minutes at SG, thus reducing Monta's minutes. This will also give us more size in the back court.

I'd rather have Mclemore. Casspi really isn't a big help for us.

McLemore is a SG, we have too many of them as it is. We need a PF that can adequately defend both traditional PF's and stretch PF's and can also either rebound well or shoot well from 3. Casspi is a career 36.8% 3 point shooter and can adequately defend PF's.

Thad at PF is fine. CJ at backup PF is fine. Shooting guard is our issue. Mclemore gives us an athlete with a pretty good stroke at backup SG.
