I love every single one of those players. I can't remember the last time that's happened in a pre-draft workout. I really hope Pritchard doesn't trade the picks away for role players because this draft class is going to be special.
I want Ferguson. I hope we can move down to 14 and get him somehow.

Talking with some of the ISU people about Morris and the Pacers and they said Morris would be a bad fit if Nate stays coach. They said he really needs a creative coach on offense to be effective.
They then threw Burton's name at me as a cheap CJ replacement. They believe he'll be a late second rounder or go undrafted because he's viewed as an undersized 3. 6'4 with a 6'11 wing span. They said if a team takes him and uses him as a catch and release 2 guard that he'd be highly effective if he's on. He's very streaky.
Could you give us the full names of the players you mentioned?

Burton is like AlJeff fat. There is no way he can guard an NBA 2 or 3.

Josh Hart please. Probably too early at 18, but if you have to move up a little, please grab him.

    Perfect 3&D player.
First time in a long time, I've been happy with the team that was constructed, and now they struggle. I blame the coach.

If you are looking for that kind of player then get Kennedy Meeks. He his a beast rebounder and can score down low but defends like Al Jefferson.
Still I would like to see him next to Myles some. Second rounder. His beef and rebouding next to Myles would work some.

At our future #1-5 pick, my preference is:

    1. Markelle Fultz
    2. De'Aaron Fox
    3. Lonzo Ball
    4. Dennis Smith Jr.
    5. Jayson Tatum

At our #18 pick, I'd prefer:
    1. OG Anunoby
    2. Donovan Mitchel
    3. Jonathan Jeanne (think he could be a Gobert clone)
    4. Harry Giles
    5. Jordan Bell (defensive 1st team potential)

I want Harry Giles too but afraid he will not be there @ 18. They're talking 5-10 range now.

    1-5 pick:
    1. Ball
    2. Fultz
    3. Fox
    4. Jackson
    5. Tatum

    #18:
    Justin Jackson
    Terrance Ferguson
    Dwayne Bacon
    John Collins
    Harry Giles

    Hopefully we come out with 3 1sts this year. Top 5, #18 & a late 1st.

I'm starting to get on the Swanigan wagon. Swani-wagon? Biggie's Bus? Whatever it is, I'm starting to think he'd be a really good fit and still has room to improve.
It's a new day for Pacers Basketball.

I think he is a second round pick, albeit a good one, because he is slow and non athletic and short for whatever position he plays.

I agree. #18 is a huge stretch for him. Late first, early second I'd chance it. Too bad I have a feeling extra picks aren't going to be floating around this year.

Boston may take their late 1st and package it with a slew of 2nds and rights to move up. But I wouldn't take it. If we had more roster room, I'd offer next years first.

Boston doesn't have a late first. 1 first and 3 seconds

I've been concerned about his athleticism as well, but dude looks lean right now.

I really wish the Pacers could trade down and get a couple lower first rounders.
Caleb, OG , and Justin Jackson and Cam Oliver are all 6'8" players with long wingspans.
OG and Jackson will be great defenders and maybe Oliver. Caleb will struggle some there, but I love his drive.

    From Draftexpress..

Maryland freshman Justin Jackson (Canada), who is testing the NBA Draft waters, posted an outstanding wingspan measurement of 7'3.25 which is an unusually high number for a wing whose height was measured at 6'7 with shoes on. His height with shoes vs wingspan differential is 8.25 (99th Percentile) and was the 2nd best number at the Combine behind only Ike Anigbogu. Jackson was already an interesting prospect given his outside shooting ability, and his highly-measured wingspan adds to his value. His height and wingspan are similar to those of Kawhi Leonard who measured 6'7 with a 7'3 wingspan at the 2011 NBA Combine. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/...analysis-5927/ ©DraftExpress

And Ike would look REALLY good next to Myles

Better not take Harry Giles...injured bigs always stay injured bigs.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I'd be pretty happy if we come out with an ace defender out of this draft. OG is probably the best we can hope for (though I'd like Isaac if he somehow fell or if we traded up) but I like those other guys you mentioned too.

Thoughts on Devin Robinson and Semi Ojeleye? Probably in the 2nd round.

If he can adequately guard stretch 4's, he'd be a good pick. He's a good rebounder...but not as good as Carl McNulty was.

Rebounding translates. Caleb is a hard worker too. I see a lot of Paul Milsap when he came out of college. Milsap worked hard to transform his game and I can see Caleb doing the same thing.

I hope by losing all that weight he is not losing strength. He needs to continue building strength and muscle mass. He looks to have shed even more weight.

I get the feeling that no matter where he goes, that team is going to have a new "hardest working guy" on the roster. And if he happened to land here, I get the feeling we'd have a new "hardest working guy" in team history. Given his story, being from Indiana, having lived in Indy, school at Purdue, and he clearly has followed the Pacers, I think it'd mean more to him than it might to other guys.

I won't be upset if we pick him.

I would be very happy with him I just wish they could get him and another player out of this draft to help at PF or center.

For those who are interested I finally found the athletic testing results on line.
Cam Oliver has a max vertical of almost 40 inches which is large for a powerforward.

I wouldn't even touch Fultz... people are too easily enamored with stats/highlights to see a player's true impact on his team's play and ability to win games. He will put up numbers in the NBA, but his style of play won't help you be anything more than average.
