Question Should we trade for Goran Dragic?

He's supposedly available in Miami who's looking to clear space for next Summer. He'd be a great backup point guard and perhaps this is the way to build a title contender. Getting proven guys from teams already under contract. I imagine we'd have to give up a 1st in any deal but Dragic off the bench with Al Jeff, GRIII, and Stuckey or CJ Miles would be stellar. Our backup PG position right now is shaky. Brooks is already showing signs of fragility and while some think Joe will be ready some day do we have time to wait for 'some day' to arrive?

    $16 million. For a B/U PG ??

    Let's get back to reality.

Well for his talents that contract is about right. But ultimately this would be an angle to really 'stack' our team. This is kind of what teams are doing these days. GSW, even the Cavs tried to stack their team last season when they acquired Channing Frye. It seems that's where we are now as a league. You need a solid starting 5, while your 6th and in some cases 7th guy would be easy starters on most teams.

I just wanted to come in here and say: Goran is not a backup point guard. He is a top 15 starting PG.
