Honest question for the Piston fans on the board.

How much more time do you feel you want to give SVG?

The 40-team co-ed youth basketball division ran for eight weeks from February through April, focusing on underserved elementary school children from the nearby areas of Nickerson Gardens in Watts, Whittier, West San Gabriel Valley and Venice.

The premise is simple: teach the basic fundamentals of the game, instill core values of teamwork and find joy through sport.

If the Raptors blow this series against Milwaukee, anybody interested in trading for Derozan?

Ellis, a 2022 second rounder (protected), and a best of reggie miller DVD should get it done right?

We should have 1/4 billion dollars to throw at someone after Paul walks.

    I don't know. But if you're Toronto:

You were #1 last season. Almost got upset by an 8th seed. But managed to make it to the ECF. Lost badly to Cleveland in every road game.
You were #3 this season. About to get upset by a 6th seed. Despite making two significant trades (PJ Tucker, Ibaka) to ensure you advance deep into the playoffs.
You gave Derozan a big contract last Summer, and need to pony up major coin this Summer to keep Ibaka and Lowry.

Overall, this team (Toronto) is trending downward. We will most likely lose to the Cavs but our team is trending upwards. We went from 8th seed (2016) to 7th seed this season. Paul's playoff scoring average is way up from 2016, and we're a #7 seed who's technically playing a #1 seed. Cavs just threw in the towel in the final few games of the reg. season but talent wise they're the #1 team in the East. That and also they are the defending champs. And we could easily be up 2 to 1 in this series with better coaching and one more sniper on the roster. No matter how things conclude here, head to head, Pacers vs. Cavs? Indy held the largest lead of the series at 28 points.

So if you're Toronto, based on our performance vs. the Cavs, based on Chicago potentially upsetting Boston, and then you look at your team getting dropped by Milwaukee in round 1... you kind of think about moving someone for new pieces right? If you let Lowry and Ibaka go, you get nothing back. I am not sure what Jonas would fetch on the open market. Especially considering he's not near an elite center. So Derozan is the only guy you could move and get a healthy return.

Not really. He's the anti-Paul George. Plays his best ball in the regular season, then disappears in the playoffs.

I guess? But he is one of the NBA's elite guards. He would be a player who if you add him would probably be enough to get Paul to stay and re-sign. He's already under contract, and he locks down your SG position indefinitely for years to come. No more musical chairs. It makes sense. Now on a team with Paul, he'd probably be a better player. Teams can't crowd him with PG-13 out there. Also Teague is a better assist man than Lowry.

I don't consider anything an upset in the East unless it's against Cleveland.

Talk about serious underachieving...there's no reason the Pistons should finish with a worse record than the Pacers, but the players on that team are seriously underachieving.

I'd have no problem bringing him in for summer league or signing him to league min. Think a solid catch and shoot player isn't bad. He is small and poor on defense so sounds like a Bird player,

What about Greg Monroe for next season? He has a player option for $17 mil next season. Think he would bypass it and enter into free agency? He would fit the rebounder we need.

No he wouldn't....he is basically younger version of Al Jefferson right now. He is playing for a new contract, he still is slow in P&R and is not that great of a defender.

1st round exit or not, if the Clippers decide to blow it up, would you trade for DJ?

Why? Their roster isn't very good imo.
