Default They should have missed that last free throw

It doesn't matter now. But I was surprised West made his second free throw. If he had missed it, there would have been .3 or .2 left on the clock, which I believe only allows you to tip the ball in the basket. The game would have been over. They gave us a last chance.

Bad coaching by Celtics. They got a break.

It's easy to give hindsight, but maybe they should have gone to Reggie at the end, just for destiny's sake. Even if AJ would have made it, he didn't get it off in time.

why was it so damn hard to get reggie a shot in Q4 and overtime? Seriously - where the F*&% where the screens?

No Dale Davis on the last play. I was thinking they should have left him in for that very reason.

No way. You make the free throw, especially with 0.7 seconds left. The odds are so long on a good shot with that amount of time left, especially when it HAS to be a 3. Even if by those long odds they make some miracle shot, you force overtime.

Gotta make the free throw. Don't know even if they missed, the refs may have given the Pacers 0.5 seconds too.

I'm thinking there is a minimum time that can be taken from the clock, and that its higher than .2

If so, it would have been lower than .5 at the end.

The C's had good defense on the last play, simple as that.
