Stupid Cardinals you can't win a game with a Brady-less Pats team?

Stupid kicker for the Cardinals misses a 47-yarder and the Pats escape.

They'll be 4-0 when Brady comes back. This was the only game they had any real shot at losing.
Which might bring in an interesting debate Brady will obviously be the starter when he returns but if they start struggling or even losing will Brady be tossed aside.

    He is 39 years old......

    It won't be a debate.

They'll win close games with Jimmy G because of the excellent system and Hoodie, just like 2008.

They'll slaughter teams with Tommy Football.

13-3 and another Super Bowl appearance. NE always has Pitt's number.

Good lord, they didn't even have Gronk. Yeah, they'll be kicking the crap out of everyone this year.

Last night showed the current state of affairs in the NFL. The Pats win a competitive game against a SB contender while Brady and Gronk sit the bench.

The Colts get down 21-3 at home against the Lions and can't complete the unlikely comeback, even though they led the game with less than a minute left

    RG3 placed on IR.

I hate to say it, but I think his NFL career is over

That happened as soon as he signed with the Browns.

The Browns were QB's go die. I hope this talk of Deshone Kizer leaving early is just talk while he looks like he could be an NFL QB I don't want his career to die in Cleveland either.

Maybe but there's this thing called Father Time and when it happens it happens fast.

Look at Manning, Duncan, both 39 both needed to be put out to pasture.

    Father Time is undefeated.

No player is above being shown the door no matter how many SB's they have won. Ask Joe Montana.

Brady obviously will decline and leave NE at some point. Not denying that.

It just won't be this season.

Plus, yes we know QB is the most important position but even when Brady retires, if there is any chance of continuity and not losing a step or two, you'd bet your money that this will be your case with the Pats.

With Garoppolo dominating, you have to start wondering...is Brady overrated? NE*'s success is really starting to look like it's heavily system-based.

The Pats never lived and died by their QB(which is actually a good thing for them unfortunately) however we asked this same question with Matt Cassel he faltered elsewhere and the team kept Brady after he returned from his season ending injury. But he was 31 back then.

Now he's 39 and like I said earlier this could actually be a likely debate here for the Patriots.

Last week was the only chance they had of losing with Brady out. The Dolphins, Texans and Bills are too incompetent to go in there and win regardless of who's under center.

The Texans look rather decent with Osweiler at QB but its at NE so yeah they aren't winning there.

It looks like they will go 4-0 at this rate but would be hilarious if Brady returns and they lose to the Browns afterwards

Now Jimmy G looks like he hurt his shoulder, some dude named Brissett is in for him.

Or they just do a good job of drafting guys with talent that can produce within that system

Fact is NE has had better coaching and drafting over the past 10 years than the Colts have. It's not an accident that they are so good year in and out
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I've watched the Saints these first two weeks and I've come to the conclusion that Coby Fleener sucks. Brees seems to look for him quite a bit but Fleener just doesn't do a whole lot.
